The whole 'summer vacation for the Scions' thing, alongside the reveals of the 80's cyberpunk stuff...it makes me feel like they sat around a table and designed an expac specifically for ME. I'm so excited for our next great adventure. I hope to see you all again across the sea!

You could hear the JP crowd getting hyped at the reveal of the fem Hroth, and it bears pointing out this is a JAPANESE crowd--loud outbursts aren't the norm (they usually wait until the trailer is over to react).😁
I love how the music and the imagery combine to really sell the joy of Krile being a pictomancer. :D
So happy for Krile to get some love!
She's always been at the sidelines doing whatever she could, but still feeling unable to contribute in a major way. Really feeling the energy of her new chapter and looking forward to what's to come for her. Picto somehow really fits her, and adds a contrast to everything else.

Picto doesn't suit her, she is a legacy character who should of had a mage focus role not an arts and craft job. The character who should had been picto is the person who has been foreshadowed every expansion since Stormblood, Alph; given pictomancer to Krile is a very weak attempt to give a person the job.
@@Vokcas Giving Alphi a second job literally right after becoming a Sage would have been extremely stupid. Not to mention it could have been Krile that taught Alphi how to draw and paint as she was his teacher in Sharlayan.

Happy new year...happy Exp year - Happy Quazii year 💖 this whole trailer makes me happy...don´t know why , but we needed this, not? After all these years of of deprivation and renunciation. Even with the prospect of never-ending conflicts, I would at least like to be able to relax in exciting, perhaps even funny, situations in the game. Here's to a good 2024🥂🍻

I like it. A whole New set of Adventure awaits. As well Quazii vids. Only now just seeing the reaction after stopping by the other channel. You’ve been missed my friend. Hope all has been well.
I feel like they don't want to repeat the mistakes of last year by promising a release date so early when they really aren't sure if they'll make it. They also held off on announcing the Collectors Edition which to my knowledge is a first as they usually feature it at the last FanFest before the expansion drops. Given that patch 6.8 seems like it's pushed out to April of this year I feel like the expansion has maybe slipped into LATE SUMMER so maybe August instead of June or July which may have been the previous expectation.
The more we see of Tural, the more I gotta question how the fuck Gosetsu just sailed through all of that. The only opening available in the middle of the continent is a bridge over a seemingly bottomless ravine.

I am pleased to see they did good on female hrothgar.
Was kind of hoping for Green Mage, if only because I used to love the old buffs from WoW back in the day. It was just fun to get then randomly, or hand them out if you played a class that had one.
Wanted Corsair, too. Well, can't have everything I guess.
The Viper section was my favourite part of the previous trailer's music too, but then Krile showed up and WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!!!!!
I'll be honest, I was rooting for Green Mage and really thought that was a sure bet, but now that I've seen what they're doing with Pictomancer I am SO glad to be wrong.
Same, I was so sure if they did pictomancer as it was it would have to be limited, but as it is it seems really fun

My favourite thing is they are going for vacation vibes, taking things down to calm days so we get a rest from huge stakes to reset things and then build up whatever new things happen, instead of trying to up them, which after saving life in the universe would be terribly nonsensical and stupid.
The quality of this trailer is CRAZY

I rather like the female Hrothgar, they managed to make it not just another catgirl. It's cute and tough at the same time.

Pictomancer looks interesting, but probably won't main it, so if Viper doesn't hold my interest, I'll go back to Reaper. Unsure if I'd Fantasia to a female Hrothgar though.

But the most important question of questions... hats?
When the female hrothgar was revealed, the crowd drowned out the trailer music.
Also, the only reason I was expecting not pictomancer is the way it was before seemed like it'd be a limited job. So it's changing, they don't just draw their opponents. Now they can draw lightning bolts and such too to just cast spells of their own
The song in krile's section was very jarring to me, im sure I'll get used to it

I wish they could do something a bit more special while not in combat, like painting something like an emoji or something along those lines, kinda like how Bard can play instruments. That might be asking too much though. XD

@@andyoliver8572 he definitely has "awkward teenager phase face, which age wise is appropriate. Allisaie though, she's definitely having a much more smooth transition, she's even starting to pick up quite the Y'shtolan strut.

This is the full trailer. The previous are "preview" trailers, with some parts cut off.
Whenever they build up to a new expansion they split the trailer down into chunks at a time, leaving stuff out until later.
The first time the trailer was shown it only lightly teased Viper
The second time they rearranged the music and revealed the Viper combat scene in full
This one added the whole Krile/Pictomancer part
From the looks of it RDM gonna get no love again for the second expansion in a row, based on how they treated BRD in ShB when DNC came out, with Pictomancer beein the new hotness
how do you judge that by looking at this trailer? lol . the job action trailer isn't even out yet
Honestly... not hyped :( xpac will be most likely cool but the trailer is very meh imho
It lacks in "hypebuilding music" which is generally rock, like the Shadowbringers trailer.
The music you could say is "too happy" and "too playful" and that is only pushed even further with the krile sections song, but given the not-tural places they showed, this clearly wont just be a "summer vacation" so im confident its still going to be cool
I kinda agree allthough I am sure it's still gonna be fun. Trailer really did not really do anything for me like all I knew about the expansion before watching is it's gonna have a tropical setting and all I know after watching is it's gonna have a tropical setting.
