Thank you. Some videos do have a loop function if they're over 2 minutes. This one doesn't. But have a look at this tutorial to use on other videos. ua-cam.com/video/wSSTxvfqaIA/v-deo.htmlsi=CSWVPZ-eT2knzkGd
Does anyone else find that they can't repeat back patterns but can easily follow the notes by point at them instead? 😂 I have ADHD so idk if thats why (but I prefer these kind of videos bc I can see it laid out what Im about to do)
I have adhd too but it’s the opposite for me 😂😂 trying to follow the notes messes me up but if I disregard them completely I follow the pattern with ease 😂
If I do this everyday will I see results in the future and will they be years away or would I have to practise more often to improve faster if so what could I do
Well, it depends on how well you're doing it. Start with simple exercises first. And see a teacher for quicker results to make sure your technique is good.
hey just a quick question, my pitch is good but my articulation especially on the AY needs more work it sounds more breathy and I tend to get more vocal cracks any tips anyone ?
Do the exercise just on the EE vowel for a while. Ee has better vocal fold closure. When you go back to AY, keep the tongue hump high like the EE vowel.
I actually did fine with this speed, which makes me happy. I'll practice every day with a goal of getting to 2.0x speed one day. Is that too ambitious? Hahaha
@DotsSinging by flexibility you mean ability to go up and down in pitch quickly? I suppose it is a bit harder at the bottom end, maybe even more for me as a baritone 🤔
If you mean the Ee vowel, keep the tip of the tongue behind the bottom teeth and the hump nearly touching the roof of the mouth. As close to ng as in siNG.
@DotsSinging Nah I mean literally the I vowel, like how it's pronounced in "night". I know, it's so sad 😔😆 For me that is THEE worst 🤦🏾♂️ Like if I had to belt and hold out the sound, I would have to practice over and over because I tend to be a bit flat, or to compensate ill accidentally be sharp, and I can definitely follow along with this video as far as having a "crisp" run, but with the I vowel my runs are blurred omg Its so embarrassing 🤣🤣 I literally play this video and I use that one vowel throughout the entire video because that's how much practice I need 😅
I just played the video again and followed your advice with the Ee sound, complete game changer! Omg it felt so effortless on my throat, thank you so much!!!! 💫✨️

I'm so glad I have ADHD, I could do that on my first try :3
TWINN
Ditto. Randomly practicing riffs all throughout the day helps too.
These are great warm ups!
Thank you. 😊
Omg it doesnt hurt my vocal cords, i have nodules on my thyroid, an im not supposed to be practicing, but this doesnt strain me, thank you so mucho🎉
That's great!

Popular good starter
Yes it is a popular one.

La Do La So La So mi re me re do la
I guess the solfas 😊
I can do this if I sing vowels but It's harder if I have to apply this to song lyrics
Totally agree. It's definitely harder with lyrics.
hey just a quick question, my pitch is good but my articulation especially on the AY needs more work it sounds more breathy and I tend to get more vocal cracks any tips anyone ?
Maybe try using more muscle in your breath muscle balance?

Maybe I just tested it, lol. 1.75 is probably enough.

Good on you for having the wisdom to do that.
Same haha. But we're working towards improvement! 😁💪
❤❤❤❤
😊
How to play this on piano
With your fingers, lol, just kidding. I'll see if I can create a short video.
Wow, I sound good 😂
Ha ha nice!
Doing them at 1.5x speed now
Good job!
Sir this practice for open voice??
Yes, I think. Not sure what you mean.
That like/dislike ratio.
😊😊😊
Green Villages
do we have to do this exercise in head voice
No, you don't have to. You can do it in mixed voice.
I don't see why it couldn't be practiced across the full range ...
@AkaRyrye83 You can do whatever you like as long as the voice is flexible. The voice is most flexible in mix and head voice.
@DotsSinging by flexibility you mean ability to go up and down in pitch quickly? I suppose it is a bit harder at the bottom end, maybe even more for me as a baritone 🤔
The bottom end would be more flexible if sung lightly and with the thin edges of the vocal folds rather than the full thickness.
Its a minor or major?
Minor!
Gotta run that I vowel yall!!!! That I vowel is definitely not my strength Lol Or doing runs UP the scale 🙄

@@DotsSinging Do you have a technique that can help with the "night" I sound?
1.75 is the best if youre a pro
