Love the GMC build. You’re building what GM should have built all along. A RCSB with an LT4/5, ten speed auto, and four wheel drive. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

GM should offer the RCSB with a 10 speed and the LT4 or Escalade V engine. The builds on the channel are so badass.

As a viewer of all things custom car/truck related, I would love to see you do a Escalade V in pickup form with the 4x4 drivetrain! Would break the internet! And all the rich folks with money to burn would pay an arm and a leg to get one! Just a thought
As a person that has converted a long box into a short box with OEM parts. I can tell you that ordering a whole new frame wasn’t needed, but this is your build. More power to you. It just needed the weld cut out, cut a little bit off, and slid back together.

I literally just told my buddy 3 days ago you should be able to order one of these from gm in a short bed with lt4 or lt5 and I’d bet they would sell a ton.. here you are setting the trend
You can order them here in Canada rcsb but only with the 4cyl wich I'm not sure if it has diffrent engine mounts so maybe just order one that way and yank the 4 banger and put a 6.2

I think you should start with the 5.3 engine. Most f150 builds use the coyote.

Really wish gm wasn’t so gay sometimes. Ford you can get a single cab work truck with a 5.0 but Chevy you can’t even get a v8 without buying the long bed…. Their build options suck

@@StangkilrProductions On the badass Blackwing call up Late Model Performance in Maryland for mods. Especially for cooling mods. They have been doing a ton of r&d on these badass cars and already are in the low 10s with them

Just curious. With all the money you’re investing by going oem and not cutting corners. Wouldn’t it be a better investment to buy a single cab out of Mexico? A Cheyenne comes with the v8 and an all Digital Touch screen. The cheyennes are no where near the single cabs that are being made in the us so it would stand out a lot just being stock. But like I said, I’m just curious to hear your side on why you went this route rather than the route I stated. Much love and can’t wait to keep watching. The Escalade V was my favorite and can’t wait to get one.
They also have regular cab short bed 2.7 trucks here too no? I found one a CarGurus at least by me for 34k? Just swap engine after that
@@Shiftheads yeah my thing was just interior wise as well being a factor and then of course going through the entire swap. Honestly then comes another question in mind power train swap or frame swap like how he is doing lol. I’ve seen a lot of people go the route of chopping the frame. so honestly, there are so many endless possibilities with these cars 😂.

Why not by a 4cyl short bed 4x4 and just do a power train swap? Rather than the frame and powertrain?
Because then the wiring, BCM, all the modules talk to each other in these new vehicles. It would be more expensive to do that plus the front of the frame is completely different
