Thank you for your service. When I was in the Navy my ship entered the North Sea, this was back in '85. We had our traditional initiation to receive our Blue Nose designation. Workers on ships in the North Sea face dangers such as rough weather, icy conditions, fatigue, and the risk of collisions or grounding. One of the most perilous aspects of their job is conducting maintenance and repairs while at sea, especially during storms or adverse weather conditions. And I found that some countries pay less amounts than average, they deserve more for the high risk they take.

The world depends on their bravery.
Those men are fearless to go out there willingly knowing that could be the last voyage they ever go on.
I had a terrifying experience being on a yatch and hitting the outside edge of a hurricane when I was 10 years old. Ill never forget hearing the captain giving it all he had going up the waves. Then when we hit the top just before we broke over the wave there was just nothing, no engines to be heard or ocean to be seen. Then going down into the wave being surrounded by nothing but water. Awesome dudes!💪💪💪💪
@@sonofjack6286 Erm, no. more than half nowadays are EUropeans (Romanians, Russians, Turks are well known and hired in many such companies.. and flown there to take these ships all over the world), Central and South Americans (mexicans, Ecuadorians, Venezuelans) and Asians. Check them rosters, mate. Literally half crew on most ships is from countries you'd never think they'd have so MANY sailors, officders, captains. I watch videos from varied ships and there's very few(or none) Brits,Germans, Norwegians or Dutch on ships these days.
I was a seaman for nine years, it was the best years of my life.
that is awesome
I can’t even imagine!
I would imagine being out on the sea has to give you an awesome respect for who GOD is!
I was a seaman for 9 months😂
I was a semen before I was born
The women on the boat are so powerful. I'm so proud of all the women.
What’s interesting is that they can make it through all of this but can’t make it through a river channel or under a bridge!!! I’m a Navy veteran also.
For all those warriors who braved the seas who never made it home...I salute your sacrifice.....I've been on one passenger ship through just Canadian waters to get to prince Edward Island during a mass storm and it still haunts me to this day...when your on the seas your now at the mercy of the seas and sometimes she can be a very unforgiving
Thanks for sharing
Scotia Prince?
