Latest Car News India | Toyota India has launched their latest offering Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor SUV which is the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV. Toyota Taisor SUV will have a 1.2 Litre Naturally Aspirated Engine with 83PS and 113NM Torque with 5 speed manual transmission and 5 speed AMT. There is another engine option 1.0 Litre Turbo engine with 100PS and 148NM Torque with 5 Speed Manual and 6 Speed Torque Converter.
Major competition will be with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and upcoming Mahindra XUV300 Facelift.

so just like the fronx the 1.2 ltr is NOT available in top spec variants, this even though the 1.2 ltr constitutes 80% of the sales of the fronx. WHAT A MISS FOR TOYOTA. In the fronx u cant even get the 1.2 ltr with a simple seat height adjuster

Why buy when FRONX is available.
Resale will be better for Fronx then why need to purchase Taisor which will be expensive than Fronx. Toyota should come with it's own products otherwise it's brand credibility will go down. We had respect for Toyota earlier but only rebadging game won't take them far. Better to go with Suzuki for resale for now. For parts too we would require Suzuki Service Centres only later then why need to pay more money to Toyota for rebadging.
