This dude is really on to something! In Islam there is a verse in the Quran, which says that Allah (God) will indeed increase your wealth if thou are but grateful. Usually this can be demonstrated by saying the word "Elhamdulillah" (and meaning it ofc).

This is so true. The less I complained that I didn’t have the job I wanted or the salary I needed and the more I showed up ready to bring my best self to everything in my life, the more opportunities came my way. Once I was happy with what I had, I suddenly got what I always wanted. People are attracted to confident, happy people. Try it!!

I get really excited when I pay my bills, because I am greatful to be alive to be able to accumulate bills like energy, water etc! Dead people don’t accumulate bills! I’m also greatful that I have the ability to be able to pay them 🙏

So true. I used to have around 20k a year just in rates and water payments. I hated paying it. Then I changed my thoughts into, Thanks so much that I can pay this I'm so grateful that I make enough to cover this. Made me feel a lot better if anything.

I budget it carefully to try make it last the month so that I can take care of my essential needs. I do not buy things by credit card unless I know I can make the payments, which is actually mature and quite responsible. It is a struggle to make ends meet. Getting myself into credit card debt at an interest rate of 24 % helps nothing. And destroys my credit rating making it impossible to borrow more to meet upcoming needs. As it is, I have to put some essential needs like perscriptions on credit every month. It has to be paid in full at the end of the month to get the next months. And am saving credit for a plane ticket, as I have no other way to purchase it. I cannot buy food for myself so live on one meal a day. I am hoarding nothing. There is nothing to hoard. And the little I do have I freely share. It is called financial responsibility. I have no one to fall back on…just me.

One thing that really helped me was being thankful for everything and changing my mindset from ah damn I have to go to work or I have to mow the lawn to I get to go to work and I get to mow the lawn. Things you don’t realize are blessings until you can’t do them anymore

But, giving FIRST means more abundance IF YOU ARE GIVING FROM A PURE HEART. You might not get the same treasure in the same way you gave at the same time. But it will return in the way you NEED at the time you NEED. To see this happen keep a Gratitude & BLESSING journal. One focuses your eyes on what you have. this mindset changed when I was drawing salary for myself starting a limited company. everything sounded too much. I drastically cut down my expenses.

I started doing this as a teenager and it made me more grateful for every paycheck because the song is so happy. Even if it's your worst paid job, just tell yourself it's a lovely day and it will become it.
