- The Christmas cactus, Schlumbergera, is actually a succulent bred from plants that grow in Brazil's rainforests. Christmas cacti bloom just in time for the holidays (hence their name) and they're pretty stunning too.
This is a very easy tutorial to make this crepe paper flower, perfect decoration for Christmas, makes a great addition to nearly any setting.

I use double sided crepe paper for the rose and leaves.
