So clever ! I LOVE your vlogs, you are a perfectionist with the piecing but not precious about breaking the old rules - you are a good teacher, and now I only watch you and one other quilter. You have given me so many ideas and I am having such fun putting them into practice! Thanks so much from South Africa.
Oh wow, thank you for so beautiful feedback. I’m glad you enjoy and it is helpful. Please don’t forget to share this channel with quilting friends. Happy sewing ❤️❤️
Pola, this is so beautiful, I'm really enjoying following your quilting journey. I've learnt so much from you - colour combinations, method and much more... Thank you for sharing your talent. I'm really enjoying your channel😁
I am working on a quilt top using this same method. It is called the "Potato Chip Bock"; because, you just can't stop with one. When the inside of the cushion goes fat, it is time to wash, dry, and add more batting (wadding, or fluff). The patchwork cover can also start to wear out; so, you (or someone) may patch the patchwork to keep using it. Cushion covers are great ways to store out of season folded blankets and sweaters. Your large cushions are beautiful, The children will love using them.
I love what you have done in the design of these cushions. Very nice design. I have really enjoyed your videos. I like your approach and your eye for color and design. Keep them coming!
Pola, if you see this may I agree with the original poster, after finding you today I watched several videos and enjoyed it and your presentations are wonderful.
WOW not cutting the threads in chain piecing is genius. Thank you that tip is so helpful. Do you leave the sharpie line on your machine permanently? Or do you remove it somehow? I would be afraid to use sharpie on my machine.
Thank you for watching ❤️ in normal circumstances they accumulate when you start cutting shapes from the fabrics you have. On top of it I go to Scrapstore. They have bags with scraps in odd shapes so once you sort it in cut usable pieces you have more strings and scraps.
I am so glad you exist in the world. Just exactly how I want to create and celebrate imperfection

Sharpie comes out on its own after few weeks of sewing. Fabric friction is taking it off. Thank you for watching xx

Where do you get your scraps and strings from? You seem to have a neverending supply!

@@polaquilting Tell me more about Scrapstore? Is it local? Online?
It’s local, it’s charity run shop where business can bring things they no longer need and crafty people can get it to make other stuff from it.
