I watch you daily now. I do not subscribe to anyone anymore . when I first came on you tube I did but I discovered when I did that ,all that came up were the people I subscribed to and I was not seeing a wider variety. so what I do now is keep my favourites in a saved list and I just go to them whenever I come on here.you are a very natural and concise teacher. no fuss.

the curve cutting and sewing on a curve is way above my learning grade for now, but the things I am now comfortable doing, were also way above my learning grade. so,baby steps. love scraps. they are what I started with. scrapsturn into lovely things and we are saving them.I have also decoupaged them onto cardboard boxes,to keep, you guessed it,more scraps in them. thank you.

I really appreciate how you “use” up all your fabric, You don’t waste it. I laughed at the “quilt magic” I need that a lot in my quilting.

Sometimes we don’t need to know why something is working as long as it does 😂😂 Magic is important ❤️❤️

"Floating Coins" is a great name for this pattern! I am really enjoying your scrap projects and ideas. Thank you for "permission" to be imperfect and creative.

I love your videos. Your designs and choice of fabrics are so different from other quilt videos. The blocks in this video are outstanding. I do a lot of curve piecing as I found it less difficult than expected. You free hand curves are so original and do not use expensive rulers. Thank you for the time you take to explain all steps. You are a great teacher.

I appreciate what you were saying about having fun with making so many possibilities while having so much fun. I need that in my life right now so bad and have been looking for a project that can give me this feeling. Instead of doing something until I find it, I've stopped doing any creating at all. I have got to start something and get out of this rut and in my happy place again!!!

There is no bad outcome with scraps, only your own spin on the design. I hope whatever is making you sad will end soon. Big hugs 🫂
