I don't remember the game being so overwhelming with new characters, as it is now... it's a bit too much TBH. I want to stay focused and finish what I initially planned, but the devs are PUSHING us to farm JUST the NEW teams.
They really are, unfortunately
It's been like this before. I think they took their foot off the gas a little bit with conquest, but now everyone is accustomed to that
I remember in November 2020 when they brought out double shard drops for characters a year or more old. I remember thinking, "Great! I'll just never farm anything that's less than a year old ever again. I'm not in a competitive guild, so what do I care if I have the newest and best right away?"
Then CG introduces the GAC system in 2021, and the new raid system last year. So much for my brilliant idea. 😅

Focus on the raid is the advice we should all be listening to. Getting a decent box on farm early will help us all for the rest of the raid life cycle

As far as snapshot in time, this isn't bad. I've noticed that sometimes they emphasize one thing, and another thing shows higher than expected value. I.e. QA and her boys, the AB, 3-man max raid score, and last week the top performing defensive 3v3 team. I think at least one of these 4 new teams coming out is going to be key to the future. I'm just not sure which one(s) yet

It’s funny how when we get to end game, this game goes heavily from a farming game to a waiting game lmao, I have every character except for luthen now, and now I just wait until I finish the next conquest, and then I just wait for Ahsoka, I remember when I couldn’t even take a break, had to just go from one farm to another, now I spend time waiting for a new faction or new character announcement from CG, I always complained about farming but tbh I kinda miss it

I think the 16mo for the assault battle to pay for itself is on the low side. Because you can get either reward. Realistically speaking I think it would take closer to 2yrs.
The new great mother unit will be a “large” unit just like Jabba.

I, on the other hand, definitely didn't like Ahsoka when she was introduced but she has become one of my top favorite characters in Star Wars. Currently I'm focusing on the Gungans so I can get Jar Jar, who I actually can't stand lol, and in the meantime gearing/farming characters for GL Ahsoka on the side.

Please, please, please mention the inequity in fleet shards when you mention the importance of fleet arena. There are people that don't fall out of the top 20, and then my shard has over 50 active leviathans, over 25 r9 sith assassins, I can't get to #1 without 19 battles and ticking people off. Whining over. Mounting complete.
As a newer player working on a lot of relics, would it be more worth it to farm Padawan Obi Wan and Master Qui Gon with cantina energy, or keep farming signal data with the energy?
The great mothers were confirmed to be 1 big Jabba style large character (you cant have a summoned unit), so you will need another 2 NS for that squad in theory

Current raid rewards are less than previous for my guild so that sucks
I have no thoughts. Too much to farm. Will get MQG and POK in 2 to 3 days to get them to R7 and perhaps R9. Have to push KAM to R8 and have to prepare for JarJar.

Im kind of doing the same. I do have a 6 star Leviathan, but the rest of my ships are horrible.
What keeps me alive in K2/K3 are my conquest units. I have 4 GLs, but every conquest unit unlocked and teams built around them.

The credit crunch alone is worth r9ing obi and mqj for the asdault battle. Ive had to stop soung ao many mod refreshes because i dont have the credits to support it and the mod cap.

There is a mistake : to unlock Mandalore, R7 is needed on BKM, BAM and the third Mandalorian, not R8
I’ve saved the mats for 2 r9 characters. Do I go for Leviathan (I have Executor and Profundity), which I could unlock by the end of the year, and put them on Revan and Malak, or do I put them on new Qui-gon and Padawan Obi? I’ll have the 2 new characters 7* by the end of August at the latest. Which is more valuable? Interested in what you think? Thanks for all the great content!!!
Quin Gon and obi they give you more r9 mats for the rest of the game levi doesn’t get you more resources

Now, huge caveat: know what your guild's goals are, and align your time with that
My guild wants max crate, and there is no way I can get all the characters up to r8 (or r9!) in a month
I have spreadsheets ! because who does not have at least two SWGOH spreadsheets ...
After weeks of running Lumi at R8 for max 2.7M, the RNG has come for me and I see how awful it can be. Keep her squad at R7.

I’m currently 8.3m gp and my strategy has been to avoid fleets. I haven’t farmed any of the epic ships (exe, Levi, raddus) and I’m in kyber 3. Everyone says ships are so important but if you have more/better teams you can clear all 3 zones and take out “some” of their ships while my enemies rarely ever clear 3 zones.

@@Xaereth I do seem to have stagnated and been at k2 the past 4 seasons but that could be because I don’t take 3v3 serious and I don’t finish most fights I just get my crystals. But for 5v5 I win probably majority of my fights I only tend to lose when I go against the 10m whales. When I go against those similar to my GP or 1m higher i always defeat them.
Top 20 in ships is 100 crystals every day. I like it. And I'm top 50 in GA and aurodium with doing GA half of the time. I get more crystals

Is it just me or are the drop rates on obi and qui-gon abysmal? I got like 5 shards from 400 cantina energy
I've actually experienced pretty ok drop rates. Not great but not horrible. I've been going until cantina refresh costs 400.
It was also horrible but seems that everything came back to normal after the drought.
