This is a solution to a non problem, most of these features exist in gmail and you can customise the layout to make it less cluttered. You can turn on keyboard shortcuts etc. You're basically paying $30 a month for a skin on gmail. One of the most expensive email clients Ive ever seen and doesn't seem to add any real value over gmail.
Your assesment is not even close, you really wont be able to comprehend what a great tool this is just from these reviews, this isnt for everyone specially for $30/month, but if your work or business requires you to constantly be in your email constantly thats where superhuman shines, I got it with the mindset that I would just try it for a month but now going back to regular outlook or gmail would be torture
I certainly agree with you about how messy and busy most email clients are especially GMAIL. First thing I would tell you is get to know and use keyboard shortcuts as much as possible. You can very easily no joke double or triple the amount of emails you can process in the same time just by using keyboard shortcuts and not having to go between your mouse and back. Additionally to CC somebody - you can click anywhere in the blank space right next to the email address, in between the end of the email and the cc link - that expands the box so you can enter somebody's email in right there - you don't have to click that CC link directly. 👏🏻👍🏻
Thanks for your video. Nice content. How is that better than Spark 3? Spark 3 seems to have most of those functionality, actually, i think they are getting some inspiration from superhuman, with free version and much less expensive service. A comparison between superhuman and spark 3 would be super handy!
I was intrigued to try superhuman for quite awhile the only thing that was holding me back was of course the $30 price tag and the fact they only supported gmail, since i use both gmail and outlook, they recently started supporting outlook so I decided to try them out and it really is great, I use to dread going thru my email but this makes it easy and fast.
By default, yes, but you can turn that off in the settings. Appreciate you wrote this 11 months ago but leaving a comment in case anyone else has the same question and sees this comment.
its pretty expensive NGL almost $400 a year for email which is essential free everywhere else- its doesn't seem like like a great sale experience either... I'm not really fond of the fact they don't have free trails... no one likes to pay to learn how to use a product. I get it they have an "onboarding" but that is just short for - let us have you talk to our sale person. Apple needs to just buy this company or something because the applemail experience has ZERO tools to help you mange email. All these tools you can find alternative that are free in gmail... but gmail doesn't support multi account or have a desktop experience that support extensions. IDK I'm super on the fence about it, but I'm gonna do a month to see if I like it. Spending like all day in email apps these days
Can't possibly agree with you more about the soul-sucking, soul-crushing volume of emails. Can't we all just agree to stop using it, effective immediately?? 🥺🙏🏻
My time is worth way more than $30 a month. It's not for everyone, some people want to stay with free tools and pay the sweat equity. I like working less on things I don't love and I'll pay for services that help me do that.
@@JesseShowalter exactly, Im a real estate agent the hours a week this thing saves has probably made me thousands of dollars, all these people complaining about the $30 probably dont mind paying $7 for a coffee at starbucks....
I am trialing Superhuman vs making many features work in Outlook. You can get close, but for example there is no Command-K command palette like in Obsidian. Superhuman has a very clean interface that is hard (not impossible) to replicate in Gmail. Snippets is a common utility. This is a case where the collection of parts, design, and performance is greater than the individual pieces. It only makes sense if your email is part of how you make money (directly or indirectly)

Well said.
In all honesty I was excited for a second, but for $30 a month I would hope for some AI doing most of this work.

im loving the UI its like alfred meets email
Does Superhuman take an existing email like outlook and integrate to respond etc. as it was still located in outlook.

I’m trying it! I’ll let you know if it’s a game changer for me
Very helpful review! Appreciated the insight and enthusiasm 🙏
this video was epic. it made me so excited to use this app
Does it have to say in the signature that it was sent via superhuman?

At 39.99$ a month it better be the best and the most expensive email client ever made.
How much commission are they paying you ?

@@JesseShowalterwhat are you currently using ? I’m still confused but the price is really expensive and you need to get used to it

damn, that's so easy. thank you jesse 😍
Used your code and still didn’t work I need thid
am I the only one who is going to complain about the nucleo license key
30dollars per month hurts
Overrated and overpriced. Nothing proprietary about any of the features highlighted in this video.
