malik conner Mash is better Waifu Material and a great (Support/Tank) servant anyway so I don't see what's so bad about maxing her before Melt when Melt herself comes waaaay later
Melt is the only attacker I have 10/10/10 her skill mats arent too bad save for double skill gems, which if youve played one lotto event arent too bad. She has great scaling on all her skills and post rank up melt virus becomes extremely powerful and lasts for 2 turns

i believe you can. equip the most reasonable and effective mystic code and CE for melt might help her fight abi even though you only have NP1

Yes you should, the reduced Cool downs help a lot
Alter egos in particular have a much larger benefit from leveling thier skills. The uptime on melts skills help a ton
