Welcome to Taiwan. Taiwan has the best health system in the world so please don't worry about it ,Taiwan has the best health care systems in the world, that’s according to the 2019 edition of the CEOWORLD magazine Health Care Index, which ranks 89 countries according to factors that contribute to overall health. Three additional Asian nations were among the top 10 in 2019: South Korea (second place), Japan (third), and Thailand (sixth). As for European countries, they occupy five of the top ten spots in this year’s ranking: Austria (4th place), Denmark (5th), Spain (7th), France (8th), and Belgium (9th). Australia rounded out the top 10 at 10th place.
Yes, before I came I was advised by a friend who sent me something (what I have essentially figured is now just propaganda) about how Taiwan lacks the medical infrastructure to take care if something major happens... Then low and behold after a few weeks here we see that the US is actually MUCH worse in terms of preparedness ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ No place on the planet better to be right now than here in my opinion!
That's the park near where I live! If you enjoy going in the nature, Yuanjue waterfall is also near Dahu Park that you should probably check it out! I felt bad that you got denied and kicked out from the airbnb and gym. Hope you enjoy your time staying here!
I'll check out that waterfall! Haven't had any issues being kicked out for a while, since they closed the borders way back everyone seems to realize I've been here for a long-ish time!
@@HarryXHemispheres That's good to know! As for the waterfall, I recommend you to go pass the Dagouxi waterfront Park and at the end of the park will have a trail to the waterfall. After the waterfall, you can either go far to Baishihu bridge and Bishanyan Temple, or turn back to Xinfubenkeng(it's an old mine tunnel) and Bihu trail, then you'll be near MRT Neihu station! That's the best short walk I sometimes took :)
Thanks for the tip to go to Yuanjue. I went there yesterday (and filmed a story during the walk). Beautiful waterfall and park up there, even if I got rained on heavily on the way down! 🙈

@@HarryXHemispheres No prob. If u got the energy and time, u might want to consider renting a bike and ride around the island. A lot of people have posted their experience. You can rent a bike from Giant and they will give you a guide book. I think the trip can be like 7~14 days. Once u leave Taipei, cost of living drops pretty quickly. It's supposed to be enlightening both for the body and mind. I have yet to try myself, but definitely is on my bucket list. Enjoy your time in Taiwan and best of luck.
Did people stare at your naked torso? Maybe this is the difference between East and West. In U.S., you can bare whatever you want be it naked or nude. But in Asia where conformity is needed, even a guy running without a shirt can be given looks in Japan.
Surprisingly not much in the ways of stares. I've noticed here in Taiwan people very much mind their own, and don't seem to be very judgmental (or at least to foreigners). As for the U.S., the country still remains very conservative in the ways of public nudity... Or at least compared to European countries.
It is quite hot in the Summer in Taiwan, so many people wear fewer and more exposed clothings. A lot of Taiwanese also travelled to other countries and sometimes studied there, so we are very tolerate people's different cultures and behaviors.
You can delete my comment, but I'll add it again: Please fact check before you make videos. There are many countries like Taiwan that are doing an equally good job, including some with Zero cases and Zero deaths. Taiwan is doing great, but it's not the only one.
I'm not about to get into semantics about which micro-nations and countries with minute amount of tourists are doing equally as well. What I am saying in this video is that Taiwan has done an exceedingly well job against all odds. I'm not going to drop hard numbers comparing it to Tuvalu and Botswana a month ago, because frankly I don't give a fuck. I'm not there. Taiwan is doing a great job, and as I was walking around talking OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD I still stand by what I say in this video. Taiwan #1.
