got to give props to these two. Ever since COVID theyve done so much good for the game let alone keeping the NRL on in the midst of covid
Hahaha they’ve done nothing besides look at numbers and feed the people who are keeping them afloat. The majority have dropped off and it won’t be long and it will fold or massive pay cuts will have to take place.

. like him or hate him (V'Landy) I certainly will give my thoughts of him ,given he's on the cusp of adding another team to the NRL of which he has hinted at PNG or NZ his words!!! . Personally I would suggest PNG is most deserving but should V'landy pick a second team in NZ THAT WOULD BE THE BIGGEST DOG ACT OF A MAN WHO DOES NOT HAVE NZ OR THE GAMES INTEREST @ HEART OR THE THE GROWTH OF THE NRL but rather only the interest of AUSTRALIA . Im glad you enjoyed it. To be honest, it wasn't that spectacular as Rugby League games can be. Smaller field didn't allow players to show their full potential. That's why you should watch live NRL games from Australia and Super League from England to see full potential of the game. Super League is also a great, but quite underrated league. Please spread the game to as many people as possible.

Don't agree with you as the smaller field had absolutely no effect, when you're talking just a couple of meters. These games were far better than average, as I've seen a lot of very boring NRL games. Also, Super League in England is very boring, as the crowds are small, and basically suck.@@aetfggdgdfgret

Thank you NRL for bringing your game to my home town it was awesome, but one huge problem, my friends in Boston and New York didn’t see it because it’s on to late with the time difference maybe a triple header next year and start earlier to accommodate the whole of America.

The cameras used in the US must be different. The picture quality for American broadcasted sports always looks vastly different to what we get in oz.

Game 3 of State of O last year (which was a dead rubber match) did double the attendance. How can this be considered a "success"? The Yanks won't be getting up in the middle of the night to watch the NRL, so they'll forget all about league for the rest of the year smh.
It’s all in context. They knew the crowd wouldn’t be massive, because they have to give a reason for Americans to come back. They never expected it to be a sold out stadium, and that wasn’t the measure for success

The issue I see on UA-cam, you can't do a show about the NRL star players or game. The NRL clips and demonitize all NRL related UA-cam clips. This has to change so Americans can do podcast and talk about the NRL..... Rugby league is perfect for Black, Brown and White America.....

What a sausage fest! The next BIG GOAL for NRL is to grow the game in Aus. We need more women. We need to grow the diverse audiences. I will give it to V'landys. The Las Vegas fixtures were an all time best marketing/PR move ever done by an Australian sporting code. It brought a bit of showtime hollywood glamour like the Superbowl, but the job is not done yet. The NRL have to think about how they can market the game day experience to women. Not just about the match, but the whole experience at game day for the 2+ hours. How can we attract other family members who aren't into watching men run into each other for 2 hrs. They still want to come have family time but maybe not through footy.
NRL also need to think about growing the game to migrants of Aus. They've done a great job with Pacifika Australians. What about others. As an Aussie immigrant myself, when I came as a young child, first thing we saw in sports were NRL, AFL and Union in winter on TV. Let me tell you, when you're a new immigrant and your default sport is soccer (football), NRL is the easiest to follow and understand. AFL seems chaotic and Union with their long scrums, mauls and penalties seem too stop/start. NRL is the easy option, similar to soccer, streamlined, easy to follow. My parents still watch Origin and all the big games. I know heaps of new Aussies in Sydney who like NRL and all the local areas being represented. There's a big untapped market there. They understand fandom due to football connections. Their kids will follow their parents and you have a few new generations of fans.
Keep the game growing! Make it as big as possible! Vegas has said that anything is achievable. Nothing is too pie in the sky. That's the legacy. Keep Growing!

Why do they need a more diverse audience? It's nrl it should only be catered to nrl fans, and thats not what they're doing! They are killing the game with all these bullshit rules for "player safety" the most oxymoron there is, the very core of the sport, which is not safe to play but can be mitigated with skill and talent. Just like we accept that car crashes will happen, really severe injuries are going to happen! But hey, someone calling someone names is worth more than almost taking someone's head off.

Facts there's been several fixed games within the last few years
It’s all rigged, haha they try and make games dramatic. One team up by 20 at half time then the ref penalises the other team for offside and laying on the player to long in ruck. Gives the team behind 90% of the ball and they have to score points. Watch a game and tell when how many points are scored of the back of the referees whistle? Hahaha get prepared people.
They follow the nba model stats, hot takes, and manufactured drama!
