Rodgers has been, and IS today, the best male vocalist in electric rock roll blues music. The Voice is better than ever, and the man is a pure performer who Lives For THe Music. Go see and hear him live.
Free are the last great band left to pull together for a reunion concert, sad like but cant ever see it happening. Great band. Best vocalist you will ever hear.
This has made my mind up once and for all - PR is the greatest Rock singer of all time . Dio Coverdale etc come close but Paul has everything - range , power , soul
I was there that night - WHAT a show. Embarrassingly however I am fairly certain that I can hear myself in the crowd...#that'lllearnme - Thanks for the post though ;)
Rodgers STILL HAS IT! .... and the guitarist is playing a Paul Kossoff Edition Custom Les Paul .... F**KING AWESOME. .... I'm gonna see Rodgers with Jeff Beck in Toronto on Aug 1st. .... I'm probably gonna cry like a 15 year old girl at a Beatles concert if they do this song.
Thank you so so much for this most recent performance of the brilliant (HOT!) Paul Rodgers, cant wait till he comes to Glasgow again, hope its soon? XXXXXX
hes movin the mike cos its what a singer does, its pat of the technique,if he just held it in one place the volume would be uneven ,his voice changes ,as he sings ,like talking
I wasn't quite old enough to see Free perform live but I agree with your opinion. His voice at that period was without doubt the best around, there were many male vocalists attempting to recreate his controlled aggression whilst being able to sing a ballad with beautiful sensitivity, but they all fell well short. From Free at Last his voice changed slightly becoming mellow and less raunchy but still a sound to die for. His Bad Company days made him as you say Americansed and from there his music for me became bland and distant. Met him last year in Birmingham and was a real charmer especially with the women.
not sure why he's movin the mike back and forth away from his voice. seems like he's slowing down some and changing some things, but that's ok still love him
I litte drunk...but all Free albums ...and alman brothers too...very greatful many music....but Albert Ayler and Archie Shepp.. Must always rememger...
The orchestra is sleeping and not listening the vocal, the guitarist is in his own world playing and also NOT listening to the vocal. But it's still cool, because it's Paul Rodgers singing.
Do a ab comparison with the Isle of Wight. This is like a corporate modern version Paul doesn't sing like he used to. Still amazing voice but it's sterile compared to free days
Well of course, it couldn’t be possible. In 1968 he was just 19 y.o., had a different head full of dreams and creative music all around. More than fifty years later he still got a unique voice and is a professional. The problem here is the guitarist 🤔
He is a really good guitarist, he has the feel of Kossoff. A couple of his bends are slightly off, but he has exactly the right sound, vibrato and touch for Free songs.
Paul is one of the few singers who's voice improves with age. Absolutely amazing!

soyounoat I agree.
soyounoat I have following him since the late 60’s and now I am singing with his sound in my heart
One of the greatest Free songs even beyond Paul Rodgers incredible contribution is Paul Kossoffs soulful guitar. Remember Paul Kossoff.
One of the most Soulful and Perfectly refrained pieces of Guitar Playing that I have heard, or am ever likely to hear again. R.I.P Koss
Amen to that. We miss you dear Koss
I would pay the entrance fee just to hear that one song, "amazing"
Mr Blue Sky his voice has descended the time line
I envy everyone in this crowd. This is one of my favorite songs.
God I love this song!! 💖
We'll never replace Koss but this is a really decent go at the solo in a great track. Mr Rodgers is still the man. Brilliant.
He's the closest I've ever heard.
I love the way Paul Rodgers sings this song. He has so much passion in his voice. The best looking man on the planet.
The most underated band of musicians I had the pleasure to listen to koss you are still the top man
As bash mentioned, Paul's voice, like a fine wine, is continually improving with age. This groove is hypnotic!
With a voice vibrant and enduring his songs and their intensity are unmatched.
Love this! This man can sing anything.
Was'nt going to say any more, but i listened an just had to, he is just brilliant. Love you Paul XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Wow, what an amazing voice Paul has...AWESOME!
Free are the last great band left to pull together for a reunion concert, sad like but cant ever see it happening. Great band. Best vocalist you will ever hear.
One of my favorite songs he sings! Saw him live around 2012 sing this at the Stockton fair in California.
My favourite song ever #Wow
Paul Rodgers. Talent in Spades. Enough Said.
Awesome version of an incredible song!!!
Brilliant. God what pipes!
This has made my mind up once and for all - PR is the greatest Rock singer of all time .
Dio Coverdale etc come close but Paul has everything - range , power , soul
One of Free’s greatest songs, and I’m referring to the music and lyrics.
his voice is just as good as it was when he sang this in Free.
pretty amazing.
What a voice man...
This song is so sensual. I love it.
Paul Rodgers uses the mic like an instrument by moving it back and forward to adjust the 'feel'
make me feel better 😍 love it 🎸🎶
So sweet, such soul!!
they are...... the music it self !
now that's a guitar solo i haven't heard in a long time.
Amazing
That guitarist had that guitar singing !
Paul Rodgers could sing the phone book! xx
How does he still sing like that?!
Mesmerising voice ❤️

Mark Marsh he doesn’t sound like koss. Not loud enough
Historia viviente
Thank you so so much for this most recent performance of the brilliant (HOT!) Paul Rodgers, cant wait till he comes to Glasgow again, hope its soon? XXXXXX
Good God he sounds great! If Free did put on a reunion tour with a fill in guitarist I don't care how far I would have to travel to see them!
the best
hes movin the mike cos its what a singer does, its pat of the technique,if he just held it in one place the volume would be uneven
,his voice changes ,as he sings ,like talking
Also have to give a lot of credit to Pete Bullick playing that soulful guitar. Pete can make it sing. I love this guy.
God dam I love how Free tend to sit off the beat a bit. There's no rushing.
Love you Paul
we're going to see him in four weeks at Newcastle city hall i hope they play this track it's fucking awesome
Saw "FREE" twice in the early 70's. His voice is a bit more polished but I preferred the rawness of his youth and before he became yankifide.

Ohh yea Spot on 🎼🎶🎶🎶🎶
not sure why he's movin the mike back and forth away from his voice. seems like he's slowing down some and changing some things, but that's ok still love him
I hate to see the anything that good go away...
I litte drunk...but all Free albums ...and alman brothers too...very greatful many music....but Albert Ayler and Archie Shepp..
Must always rememger...
i agree,,,
Who is the Guitarist, anyone? Very close to the Real Deal, except he didn't have Koss' finger vibrato, but nobody else ever has either!
The guitarist is Pete Bullick. Husband and guitarist of Deborah Bonham. John Bonham's sister.
Many thanks Raymond. Really impressed by him👍
el puto amo
The orchestra is sleeping and not listening the vocal, the guitarist is in his own world playing and also NOT listening to the vocal. But it's still cool, because it's Paul Rodgers singing.
Must admit,...the Les Paul tone is soo PK its untrue. Sweet sweet song to be played at my funeral for sure.
come listen to the "Night Terrors" begin \m/
The voice is not better then in former times, as some people state. But it's still quite good.....
Kom een keer naar Holland
spmetimes louder sometimes softer ,intonation
Never let that guitarist near a Kossoff song again!!! Absolutely awful. Loved Rogers vocals - fantastic as ever but that guitarist is woeful.
Absolute bollocks - guitar playing is excellent
Do a ab comparison with the Isle of Wight. This is like a corporate modern version Paul doesn't sing like he used to. Still amazing voice but it's sterile compared to free days

Kind of R&B version
who are you,,
Paul Rodgers was the singer with 70's bands Free & Bad Company.
Fkng hell, his voice has lost nothing
he was so much better before he had singing lessons....blues is not opera...geddit?????
Paul deserved a better guitarist than that. No offence to the guitarist but ...
He is a really good guitarist, he has the feel of Kossoff. A couple of his bends are slightly off, but he has exactly the right sound, vibrato and touch for Free songs.
who is it?
far from it. Soulful, understated and full of emotion. Just like the original ..
this guitarist sucks
He's a decent guitarist that does a lot off koss'work ....this is live and just like koss he has some slop at times live .....
