- Starting today, Fridays on this channel will be dubbed Faith Fridays. Tonight, we're sharing the story of a Japanese pastor, who had a near death experience about half a century ago and saw Jesus. Our Faith Fridays videos may vary from Ranzo sharing a message, interviews with other Believers or someone else sharing, so you'll never know what we'll release each Friday. But we hope that whatever is shared will bolster you Faith in our risen King.
I pray that Pastor Mike's testimony will be a blessing to you all.

"And my children have become believers in Jesus"... those are among the sweetest words anyone can utter.
My 91 year old mother does not believe. Have been praying for her salvation for around 30 years. My husband found this video. Hoping my mother will open her heart to Jesus hearing it in her native language. To God be the glory!!!
There was a similar story about another old Japanese man and this video was shown to him and the pastor in this video was connected with him and he gave his life to the Lord. Have faith 🙏🏿
Sad to hear.
Great to hear this kind of testimony from a country where there are virtually are no Christians. Praise the Lord!
If you really want to see him he will come to you !
He still drifted away from the church after his initial vision and other subsequent times in his life, but Christ repeatedly sought after him time and time again.
Wonderful testimony from this japanese brother. May the Lord bless all his generations...♥️

I wish I could see the Lord. It would give me much comfort and encouragement amidst the storms in my life. I absolutely need His guidance. I REALLY NEED IT!!
me too
“Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."”
- John 20:29 (NKJV)
Sometimes I’m like that too. I want to be physically in His presence. But then I always remember that God is always with us (His Children) and will never leave nor forsake us. I also remembered He is El El-Roi, the God who sees us. He is always with you, and when you seek Him, praise Him, and even just spending time with Him His presence will be known.
It is also mentioned in the Bible that He will test us by not letting His presence known. Even if we don’t feel His presence or hear Him in spirit/audibly (because sometimes He will speak audibly to you) it is a test to train up our spiritual endurance. The Bible says to put on all of Gods armor so we can withstand the wiles (the tactics) of the devil. When you don’t feel the Lord’s presence when times get low, or when you hear negative thoughts in your head, still praise Him! still speak to Him because He will always be with you even in the midst of your lows. And also speak scriptures of God’s love over you. It’s all according to the faith and trust you have in Him that He is with you.
Oh just to add one more thing!
There’s a difference between believing and having faith! I used to think believing and faith was the same thing but it isn’t. A person could believe in Jesus, but not have faith in Him. When you believe in Him and have faith (absolute confident trust) in Him you will also get to feel His presence more and He will reveal Himself to you more and more as your relationship with Him grows. Stay encouraged love! God bless you!
I love this testimony!!!
I have also seen Jesus Christ,
he is real,
he is alive,
he is the Christ,
he is the Son of God
Awesome, so awesome!
Our Lord Jesus Christ is truly loving and forgiving God, anyone and all people are equal to him. He is faithful and he will not miss especially those people who are seeking repent to their sins and bring back to God. Glory to God, Glory to Christ Jesus. AMEN🙏

I'm a Japanese living in the US. I have become a follower of Jesus here, and my life has been unbelievably amazing. I'm truly a new creation.
While I feel comfortable sharing God's Word in English, I have a hard time doing the same in plain Japanese language with Japanese people.
I appreciate this Gentleman's lifetime of work for the Lord, I don't think this is going to move too many Japanese people's hearts.
I hope that pastors in Japan will make Christianity more accessible to Japanese people by speaking in more plain language, rather than in awkward direct translation of English phrasing.
Again, this gentleman has dedicated his life to our God, and I have tons of respect and appreciation for him. But somehow, I feel like Japanese Christian's videos, including this one, almost always lack biblical references. Without that, skeptical audience will remain skeptical. As in Mark 1:25-28, wonders make people amazed and curious, but not enough to convert them into believers.
There are people in Japan I want to evangelize, but there's such a thick wall between me and them when it comes to Christianity.
I think the work of conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit. If we rely on intellect and our flesh, I don’t believe we will get very far. Though we are also flesh, the gospel ministers to the spirit within man. And those who are our Lord’s responds to it. It may take some longer than others, but eventually all the sheep of the Great Shepherd will come home.
ヘブライ人への手紙の第十二章によると、キリストこそ信者の信仰を開始して完成する方です。According to Hebrews Chapter 12, it is Christ that is the starter and finisher of our faith.
I am still learning Japanese, so forgive me if I made any mistakes ^^;
The green color of the grass means that the soil is good and if the soil is good, the grass will be healthy.
The believer is the grass and Christ is the soil. As long as the grass remains in the soil, it will grow and be healthy, but when it is cut off it withers away. As long as the believer is connected to Christ through the faith and teachings in God's Word, s/he will prosper and be strong in spirit. In the process, the earthly life of the believer takes on a new meaning.
お茶を作る時には葉より味が大事なのです。When the Apostles were in the boat out in the middle of the lake and at midday, they thought Jesus was crazy because they understood that the fish would avoid the nets in the water (and they had spent the entire night fishing without catching any fish), but then all of a sudden the nets became full of fish and almost broke from all the fish that were in them. Another boat was needed to hold all the fish and even then there were too many. This was to show the Apostles that the fish -- and the people -- come to Jesus and not to the Apostles. Peter fell on his knees before Jesus and proclaimed that he was a sinner not worthy of Him, but Jesus then told him that from that point forward they would become "fishers of men".
I am reading a book titled _What's Going on With Missions in Japan?_ that is written by a "Takuro Yamamoto" and talks about the problems mentioned in your comment.
May him find truth in God's word.
What a wonderful testimony. May God Bless You..
Thank you for sharing an amazing testimony!
