Thank you so much for this magical drive out to Santa Barbara! I'm cruising along here, listening to some Italo Disco and just having a real ball! I love California and particularly, this Pacific Coast Highway. Just think, where else, can you enjoy the wide open sea and watch a sign to San Francisco fly over your head? Back to the road... here, we go!

OMG, seriously??? We drove all the way to Santa Barbara just to turn around and go back to Malibu??? OMG! Shouldn't we at least stop and enjoy a snack & drink by the sea? We're not even going to get out and stretch our legs??? Shoo~wee! That's BAZAAR.
What a treat! It took me back to 1995 when I visited the United States with my family and drove from Half Moon Bay to LA along HWY1. This has to be the most beautiful coastal route in the world. God Bless USA!

Half Moon Bay, isn't that near Pelican Point, just south of San Francisco? If so, we stayed there for a month and loved it! The RV park, right on the shore, is where we were. Were you somewhere around there?
I used to do this most weeks as my office is in Santa Monica and I live in Santa Barbara, though since Covid it has only been once every few months. At 1:12:50 you can come off the 101 and drive along the old road for the next 7 miles. Adds a few minutes on, but it is scenic and makes a nice break from the freeway.
Im from Ohio went to California Feb of 2021 my son Stan Jr invited me for a trip to California my first time there and first time on a plane at age 55 we had a ball riding down Pacific coast Hwy caint wait to go back to California love it there I plan on buying a house in Malibu love Malibu love it!
Ive lived in central Jersey all my life. Last year i flew to California and saw all of this for the first time. Plenty of people take this state for granted. Go ahead, sell your homes. As a New Jersey resident, my family can afford it :)
my friend and i drove through this area back in 2020. we stopped to take pictures every couple of minutes and it was a good trip. being from florida, we enjoyed the scenic drive very very much.
From Nebraska but will be driving to Santa Barbara at the end of the month. Can't wait to driving along the ocean for the last leg of the trip! Usually I fly so this will be pretty new.
Thank you! I do miss this commute - I worked in Pacific Palisades and lived in Ventura - loved it. I am so glad you made this video so I can relive those years.
Your videos are not only visually outstanding but they are a wonderful resource. I am trying to convince good friends from cold, cold Minnesota to move out here and while they have visited Palm Springs and LA, I keep telling them about Santa Barbara and how it's my favorite. I sent them a link and they called SB "jaw dropping." Thanks for all of these. The impact is BIG!
My family and I have driven to the shopping centers in Ventura and Oxnard for years, and the stores are still great to visit. At 1:03:50 to the far right of the screen you can still see the sign of the old Ventura "Toys R Us" building through the trees. My family took me there multiple times since I was a kid, until right before it went out of business.
Childhood dream was to visit socal. Made it a reality a few years ago. Made the drive from LAX to Santa Barbara. Stopped at Neptune's Net for some Crab Cakes and Fish. Such a pretty drive. The FisHouse is so amazing! Try their Macadamia Nut Seabass!
This drive looks almost like driving thru Oklahoma, minus the ocean, and palm trees, and mountains, and paved roads. On second thought this is nothing like Oklahoma,

City of Santa Barbara is paradise on earth, everywhere you look there is beautiful views!! I am proud to be from SB 🐻💙
I really like these videos not only because they're relaxing, but I'm a car guy and I like cruising on road coastlines like this.
Nothing relaxing about driving in california
Back in 1954 - 55 I hitch hiked from Oxnard to Malibu almost every weekend. Never had a problem getting a ride.
I live in Malibu and take this trip all the time. Watching this is better. I get to be a passenger and enjoy the view more!
Very nice, love all the green grass and tall skinny palm trees.
Such a gorgeous drive, I loved driving HWY 1. Canadian road trips cannot compete with the scenic drives out that way. Thanks for Sharing
It's either dune canyon walls or sprawling mountains, so amazing
Yes they can>. Canada is so beautiful!
Great video, I love California.

Just like the old days. Miss my city los angeles. Spent so much time in Nobu malibu. Riding in my e class Mercedes 2019. Will go back soon..
1:45:59 the house next to that house with the windows n flagpole in the front on the corner right there is where Paul Walker lived..

Can't wait to drive this road this summer in my rented baby blue VW van
Thanks a lot
I already support the channel
God bless you more and more
Thanks!
Enjoyed the drive! Santa Barbara is gorgeous. Very relaxing to watch.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I walked 🚶♂️ from Zuma Beach Malibu to Ventura back in 2015 and eventually got to Santa Barbara riding the blue clean air express bus.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful relaxing video.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video, thanks for uploading!
A lot of this looks like Del Mar and Encinitas down in San Diego County where I live… Very nice drive for a clear sunny day!
what a road!
Took pretty much this same trip back in April - always wanted to do it. Great trip.

Thank you.
Taking the 154 from Santa Barbara to Solvang is actually quite beautiful to me too
yep ... i know these routes really well.
It would be a fantastic footage if you capture this scenic drive during sunset/sunrise!
I live only 10 minutes away from the scenery location at 42:00. Sunsets are sunrises are truly breathtaking.
Très belles images, je viens juste de m' abonner.
C' est quand même beau la Californie.
Thanks!
Nice vid. California
California 👍🙋♀️🌍
Really great video. Wish they had timestamps for locations.
I done this drive wow amazing a must !@!
State beaches, Hwy 1exit. If you took that you could see the beaches and the water.

Do you have any videos of Venice to playa del Rey,the jetty
This one is from Playa Del Rey to Palos Verdes: ua-cam.com/video/UUodc6Z21vI/v-deo.html
Тот, кто жил в России в 90-е, при въезде в Санта-Барбару, обязательно скажет себе: "Я дома!".
When did you shoot this video?
When Ryan Reynolds pays his debts, I will drive that highway🛣️🤗😁🖤

Reminds me GTA V

I'm Disappointed you didn't stay on PCH 1 through Oxnard. You missed all the old historic buildings and sights in Oxnard.
Would like to use this footage for an indie music video
No, sorry.
Thanks for the reply
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💞💞💞💞💞
Thank you for sacrificing $250 in gas money for this video, beautiful scenery!
why are you driving so freaking fast for??? slow the hell down !!!
It seems incredible that near there is the ugly and dirty Tijuana.
TJ is much further south… this is central coast. A solid 2 hours or more north of San Diego.
Tijuana is far
Just 3 to 3½ hours away, it's really not that far. It can still be considered relatively close.
@@SA-hz1rs 3 or 3½ hours, it is neither close nor far away.
