IF? Internal Focus? if that's the case, yeah I feel you. I've been using the sony 24-70mm GM2 and it sucks in dust like crazy. I think I have to send it into Sony Support to get cleaned. I don't miss the size of the Gen1 Sony 24-70, but I sure do miss the internal focusing and the lens barrel not being moved.
@@onkar096 most new zoom lenses made these days aren't internal focus anymore. Like the lenses are smaller in size, but in order to zoom or change focal length, you have to move the barrel and part of the lens extends to reach that focal length. Over time, non-internal focusing lenses suck in dust and it's hard to clean out. Besides this lens, a few other examples of lenses without internal focus are the Sony 70-200 f/4 G2 Macro Telephoto lens and the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM2
if I only waited two years for this instead of paying more for the Sony 24-70 f/2.8 GM2 when it was released lol
