The damn stuffed cat robot just slays me, uncontroloable laughter as it zooms all over
Man, I really like the "go pro"-version Adam had around his neck 😂
Also, his dismount from the tree 😂 it was a long drop and I’m surprised he did it!
My dog is getting put down right now
Me and him used to watch myth busters all the time at my grandparents place
This is helping me cope
I love that bloodhounds are literally just there for sniffing, they just want a cuddle from the criminal, no teeth or anything. Also, Morgan wasn't trained for urban environment, so they should've gotten an urban trained dog
look at those absolutely beautiful dogs they got for the training myth
In memory of
Robin the Bloodhound
sew fun knee
Meanwhile, Adam made a gopro before it was cool. ^^'
Poor CeCe, not even house trained. :(
I mean just wear the protective dogsuit and pull him along during your crime XD
or if in America shoot it or when i vomes to the fence stab it
Instead of distracting the dog or trying to hide from it, just take it head on.
Dog makes a ton of noise, guards come running, you get shot 57 times.
I would love to watch the security footage of that heist.
so incredible experiments
As the Mythbusters like big carnage and blowing things up I was a little scared... You did top dog entertainment!
yes I think it could work if you worked in conjunction with each other too. the drum has an opening at the bottom... bad, the ball is just too big, bad the cat on a remotely controlled vehicle... the bit that worked was the remote controlled vehicle, but place a Cabin/cockpit on top of it, and one of a suitable size to fit out the exit, or block the exit while the occupant escapes... or just use the robot to steal the loot while the dog is preoccupied by humans elsewhere
The last part of this episode was recorded in my home town Livermore, California. 🙂
😮
I think "washing" could work. A fleeing convict won't just stop and wait for the dog to catch up, so just slowing it down for a while should make escape plausible.
That is probably where the "crossing a river" idea comes from. A bigger stream that you can submerge in while swimming over would clean you up and make the part of the trail directly after the river much weaker. The pursuers also would need time to cross the river without getting wet (and they are there because they get paid, not to gain freedom), giving the escapee more time to gain distance. Basically weakening the trail as much as possible.
I disagree. Having watched a lot of police chase videos, criminals bail out of their cars and hide in wooded areas where the helicopters can't get a line of sight. Also lots of videos out there of them hiding in backyards/under cars/dumpsters
@@deydreamercan confirm, they almost never go extremely far
@@deydreamer Yes, but if you KNOW you're using the washing tactic specifically to slow down and confuse the dog (which we saw works really well), but not intending to get it off your trail completely, then you would also know that it would eventually catch up if you stop and thus to keep moving whenever possible. What you're talking about is the psychology of escaped criminals, not the physical limitations of escaping.
Plus, of course you see videos of escapees hiding like that, because they're all the idiots that get caught. The ones who get away with it, and thus are demonstrating successful escape tactics, you'll never see. So just by saying that lots of those videos exist doesn't indicate plausibility because you have a biased selection process.
@@deydreamer "backyards/under cars/dumpsters" ... *nods to my Blood-Racoon, who looks suspiciously like a normal albeit very confused racoon* We GOT this Rocket! :D
I feel like Eewan the guard dog got retired to civilian life after this (or he wasn't a police dog) 😅😅 I've never heard of a real police k9 getting distracted by those things
Get a car. A dog can't track you if you're in a car.
The fpv camera must be heavy.
Just bring another dog along and boom they fight , there js s diversion too
"The unfit crew".
So happy when new episodes appear hear
I hear you.
they forget one thing. Never use a collar on an untrained dog. Collars are for dogs who dont pull and know rules they follow, but if u are a real doog owner and love dogs u dont use collar u use Dog harness.
😮
I think the reason none of these blood hound myths are working is because they're confusing ways to throw off human trackers with blood hounds. Crossing a river or climbing a tree are ways you stop your tracks from appearing on the ground, not how you stop a blood hound.
This is old, but Mark Rober himself tested such concepts too. It was indeed proven that bloodhounds require interaction with their trainer. Leave the bloodhound alone and it's just a dog in the end.
Pity you can't train cats like with dogs, as their sense of smell is even stronger than dogs.
Imagine being tracked down by a bunch of cats, they would catch me easily because I'd turn back to play with them.😸
Better train a Pig ( much nicer and friendlier compared to cats) or an Polar Bear - they are THE best in the Sense of Smell world
@@easygroove Oh I have to totally disagree with you there. I mean pigs do seem to be quite friendly. But I've lived with 3 cats in my lifetime, and they have all been my bestest friends.
If we're talking unfriendly species, that would be humans, give me a cat any day.
@@MadHax-wt5tl
:-) we wont agree on this - for me Cats are the Assholes of the Animal World
(Speaking about Animals People use to have at home)
anyway best regards
@@easygroove an effing blood-bear would be terrifying af!
My granma had a malamute, a very sweet dog. Born same years as me, died at 15. I miss that dog.
Tory is just a Mek Boy - built a killa-can to counter wolves of Fenris
An inch and a half, in the right place on a dog, gets you to lung, heart, esophagus, and, several major blood vessels. I'll bet a determined human could best a dog with a spike or something most times. The human would be torn to bits in the process and it's hard to run after a dog tears you a new one.
How can they not tell the difference between a husky and Alaskan malamute🫠
One is a husky and the other one is a Malamute.
Mindblow for the Lowminds: K9 is one supreme wordplay!
What do you mean?
@@PM-lz5gs canine... dogs are canine.. K nine... k9...
I can’t believe that I am the first to view this on UA-cam. Also when I had cable I had never watched it on tv. I wish when the tv ppl do reruns they don’t include this.
For what reason.. U dont like it or don't want it played to death?

five minutes advance is ridiculous this experiment is worth dog Sh1t
Is 50 considered to old for Humans to learn!?
Good point. One could also say that you can't teach an old human new tricks.
And many people at 50 are clearly learn-resistant.
To where?
For a proper test there would obviously not only old dogs but also young dogs and medium aged dogs. Then see if the younger dogs learn faster and if the old dogs don't learn at all.
And for a proper bind test, the trainers wouldn't know which dog is of which age.
And if we want to go all the way, repeat the test with humans. Can we teach old humans new tricks?
It's not about who can learn the tricks the fastest. it's about if the dogs that are of an older age are even capable of learning tricks
The distract the dog with a steak = busted/worked. They just needed two steaks, and someone who moved faster than the female.
That police dog is not a very good police dog, a real good police dog does not eat that meat, because we teach them not to do that, even in training this kind of stuff is used all the time to teach the dog not to eat things. I've been walking around in that suit for 7 years 5 days in a week, and not one dog will eat meat when I try to feed it to the dog and before I have the change to give it, the dog has already attackt me, so there is no change that will happen, at least in my time when I was a helper I couldn't manage it, because there are exercises for it, and with a number of exercises, meat is used, while the dog has to guard things and the dog is never allowed to move away from it, only when the person comes too close (about 1.5 meter away) so there is a little chance that you can give a piece of meat to a dog that we trained, that will never happen, also you can't afford that either, suppose someone gives that dog poison, so it's learned to the dog at a fairly young age, and a good police dog will never accept meat from a stranger, that is what he has been doing all along and always learned, because that is a big part of his training, It is no coincidence that police dogs are selected for specific jobs, and whether this is a guard dog or a real police dog there is also a little difference here, because you have OB1 and OB2 and for a police dog you have PH1 and PH2, but in both cases you do not want to be bitten by such a dog.
What about bitch in heat urine? Would that work?
it might have been combined with a bitch in heat, but how often do you come across a bitch in heat 😉, but what we see here in the video is surveillance, and as I said, a real police dog does not accept meat because it is already triggered , and if you stand by a car with police dogs in it, I don't think you have the guts to put your fingers in it 😉

This is what a police dog sute do if you come on someone property :)
This are not police dogs but than you see the reaction of what a police dog sute do, you have no time to give something :)
