The one time I was able to convince my parents to buy me a lunchable for lunch, I was trying to open the pizza that you could make a regular or a chocolate pizza and as I struggled to open it I ripped too hard and the ingredients went flying all over the cafeteria floor

My guess is that the company initially had to appeal to kids so they would tell their parents to buy it, but now that's it's a recognizable brand they no longer need to pander
actually, I'm pretty sure one of the reasons is that once the child food regulations started to realize how unhealthy processed foods were they started to demand that most of the brands that catered to children reduce the amount of mascots in their packaging

Do you remember Lunchables All-Star lineup? They had one with mini hot dogs and one with mini tacos. Both cold and both were the best thing ever. The hot dogs were Oscar Meyer brand and I actually started eating the big versions cold because of that. The tacos couldn’t be replicated though. The ground beef even came in a little squirtable packet it was insane. I miss them too much

My mother despised Lunchables. Eventually when my younger brother was in school, she started buying them more because it was easy to throw one in a backpack and call it a day, she was a nurse so her schedule was spotty. One day my brother opened up the chicken nugget lunchable and they went bad, like really bad. The mold turned all the nuggets green. Not only that, it was before the experation date. My mother called Oscar Meyer, and the best they did was offer her a coupon for a fresh one as a reimbursement. From then on, even after my mother passed away, ive never had a lunchable. Personally, cant go wrong with the pizza flavor specifically the one with the desert pizza.

Sort of off topic but I remember when Pizza Hut did a promotion for an Oreo pizza. Regular breading with the Oreo cream as the 'sauce' topped with crunched up Oreos. It was god awful and I remember just taking the cream off.

I practically lived off of Lunchables in 5th grade. They were mediocre as hell, but an upgrade from whatever the cafeteria was serving. So this was a bit of a nostalgia trip for me.

Do you remember Lunchables All-Star lineup? They had one with mini hot dogs and one with mini tacos. Both cold and both were the best thing ever. The hot dogs were Oscar Meyer brand and I actually started eating the big versions cold because of that. The tacos couldn’t be replicated though. The ground beef even came in a little squirtable packet it was insane. I miss them too much

I remember the pizza lunchable I always was SUPER conservative with the first couple crust discs... then either the last disc or the last two discs (Depending if I wanted to sandwich it), I would always have my last one be the super pizza with the remaining ingredients. I'm not commenting until I see if they do the same.

My mother despised Lunchables. Eventually when my younger brother was in school, she started buying them more because it was easy to throw one in a backpack and call it a day, she was a nurse so her schedule was spotty. One day my brother opened up the chicken nugget lunchable and they went bad, like really bad. The mold turned all the nuggets green. Not only that, it was before the experation date. My mother called Oscar Meyer, and the best they did was offer her a coupon for a fresh one as a reimbursement. From then on, even after my mother passed away, ive never had a lunchable.
Personally, cant go wrong with the pizza flavor specifically the one with the desert pizza.
