Hey Mr, has anyone told you just how great you are at teaching? I've already watched a video on Microsoft word this morning, and without sounding condescending, you have been by far the best I have come across. You are so that good, I am now watching this video on excel and... I have also turned on my notifications for your channel. I sure hope someone helps you one day just as much you have helped people around the globe. Thank you kindly. From one Stanger to another... Wishing you and loved ones a merry Christmas.
I truly appreciate your thoughtful comment! It's amazing to know that my videos are making a positive impact. Thank you for your support, and Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
@@TeachersTech Thank you Mr. If you were to know me, I moan about everything, except Apples customer service. I believe I have the right to moan as the services to us (Public) are beyond poor. However…You are a true inspiration and have helped my professional skills. You did that, you did by making UA-cam videos! Thank you kindly for your kind words. I can’t wait to watch all of your uploads. THANK YOU, once again. 🙏
One could not have been taught in a simpler way - The language was so simple and the demos were so illustrative - Great job - Must be seen by all who want to learn Excel. Keep rocking
Thank you very much. It was very helpful, as I needed to learn it quickly. The delivery method is also easy to understand. (English is not my first language, sorry if there are grammar mistakes)
I absolutely love your tutorials, thank you! I have a question, and I am not sure what excel tool to use in order to get my desired results. I have a spreadsheet that has arrival times of flights down to the minute, I need to group those flights by day and hour. What would be the best way to achieve this? I have over 1000 flights I am tracking over a weeklong period for a very large event, so I am trying to see when our busiest arrival and departure hours are for staffing periods and transportation. What would be the best way to do this?
Give this a try to group the arrival times of flights by day and hour 1. Add a Helper Column for the Hour Suppose your arrival times are in column A and are in yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm format. Add a helper column to extract the date and hour. Use the formula: =TEXT(A2, "yyyy-mm-dd hh") This will give you a result like 2024-11-21 14, representing November 21st, 2 PM. 2. Create a Pivot Table Select your data and go to Insert > Pivot Table. In the Pivot Table, do the following: Drag the helper column (e.g., "Date Hour") into the Rows field. Drag the flight ID or another unique identifier (e.g., "Flight Number") into the Values field. Set the Values field to "Count" to get the number of flights for each day and hour.
