Dana Steidle or maybe because she knew she was always subject to weighing, her dad constantly weighed her, coached of elite gymnasts probably do too, plus everyone was getting suspicious, so it was probably a "precaution" in her mind

Not trying to be mean but she looked healthy not 96 pounds she had muscles and normal things. They should've at least made her look the part.

Trinity cox It wasn't really meant to be realistic, but more-so meant to emphasise and overly exaggerate some of the more obvious (and not so obvious) aspects of eating disorders.

I get your point completely but it's not like it's a multi-billion dollar movie where they can afford to do CGI and such. It's just a show. ☺

Trinity cox Gymnasts are usually short and people distribute fat differently. For example, I don't distribute much fat in my waist, stomach, or back, but I distribute more in my legs and face. So, I get abs and a baby face

sunshine11931 you dont “appear” anorexic.. its an illness not an look. most people are not scary thin when they have anorexia

they are also trying to find a balance between her weighing less and trying to hide it such that it's not obvious she's anorexic to anyone that sees her.
