Here's how I fixed my squeaky kitchen faucet knob. The handle was squeaking so loud and I didn't know it was such an easy fix. Be careful if your valve is stuck, the plastic can be fragile and you shouldn't use pliers to pull it out. I used a flathead screwdriver to push mine up slowly. At the end of the video, I included a little clip showing how to remove handles too. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Great video. Didn't know about plumbers grease. How long will it last, start squeaking again?

It’s been a year and a half and it’s not squeaking yet!

The part that you lubed, does NOT move....only the inner spindle turns.

Thanks for your comment. It’s been two years with daily use and they still doesn’t squeak. Maybe there’s a better way to get similar results though, I’m far from being a pro 👍

Does the grease contaminate the hot water?

Plumber's grease is supposed to be safe for potable water. Just make sure you read the label if you want to be 100% sure; I'm not a plumber or a doctor. Thanks for your comment :)

The o-ring that he applied the lube to, doesn't move so I can't see how this will fix anything.
I have the same faucets and it's ALWAYS the hot one that squeaks...I think it has to do with the expansion of parts, binding against each other since they're just cheap plastic.
By dismantling the spindle (the part that actually turns) and lubing the stem, I was able to resolve this squeaking for about 5 minutes. Time to get a set of faucets with brass cartridges.
