Damefaso, what u said is true the vtec cam profile starts off in the higher cam profile and comes off to let the car boost. It was only there to minimise lag it isn't anything like the old low cam into high cam crossover

but this cars doest have vtec they removed it to put "TURBO"

GRANTU122 it has vtec but the vtec isn't like a k20 or b16 engine with high cams. The vtec is from low rpm to minimise turbo lag then stop for boost to kick in. Honda knows their stuff!
