    I like that you mentioned the guy taking a break for two weeks and coming back stronger. Lots of people don’t know about this but it is very very real.

      100% agree with this, I started 10 months ago been going almost every Sunday, but I recently had to skip two weekends I came back and I fucking crushed. Now I got hard AF and then take one week off. My body needs it and I am finally getting better and stronger.

      @@xXLucWuvXx great question! In Canada 🇨🇦 they locked everything down due to covid so the armwrestling competition also got cancelled at that time. But I’m going to enter the next tournament that opens up.

    Had my first tournament the other week. Best advise I can give…. Grab as high on the hand as you can cause they may not be strict on thumb knuckle. I got smoked trying to be nice guy. Second. Feel free to hit early as soon as they are just bout to say go. It’s not WAL strict so people that jump early often win. If not you restart so use the foul .

      How them elbows feeling? 🤣 I couldn’t make it through the pain. The joint stress is unbelievable.

      @@papabilby8855 yes the elbow pain was bad in certain exercises like when I'm doing wrist rising with 45 pound weight hundred at a time 10 reps of 100 my elbow grinding the pad on this was painful and excruciating first couple of times but now I love the pain it makes me feel so good.

      Props to you guys. Haha. Stopped armwrestling close to two years ago now and still have elbow pain. Especially when I sleep. Kept me out of the gym for about 6 months. I’m just not built for it. Played every sport in school and plenty of mens league bball all the way into my late 30s. Nothing tore me up like armwrestling. Wish I could tho.

      @@Grobloum Merci, je suis inscrit dans aucun club, je suis dans un groupe de bras de fer "La ONE ARM" mais rien de +, j'ai juste une table de bras de fer pour m'entraîner avec mon frère et des poids
      En revanche je vais le 26 septembre donc un mois avant dans un club vers Paris pour faire quelque sparring et me préparé
      Je vais participé le 30 Octobre en catégorie Junior Open

    I wish I had seen this before going into my Provincial tournament. Still placed very well (4th or 5th) in Amateur and Pro >176lbs but I feel like I could have placed with a bit more knowledge, just as you said.

    Agreed! I low hand top roll. That’s where I’m strong. And a cup. Hook I’m trash. I stay away from it. As I practice more I keep trying hooking. Building it slowly. Your the man. Love your content.

    Just had 1st tournament a week ago lost the 1st match bc I wasn’t ready 🤪 ended up losing my right hand but that warmed me up & got me rdy for the left arm then I went undefeated & took 1st place. I should’ve warmed up keep the videos coming please I’m a big fan 💪🏻

      @@izzy0164 won the first round. But the endurance it took from me can't be explained. Lost like a child in the other two rounds. Currently focusing on the technique and especially the endurance. Best of luck for your match too. Will be glad to hear how it went.

    Amazing video coach ray also best of luck in your next match my money is on you again but I hope this time you don’t have to win more matches then need be also we talk in the past many times and I was supposed to go in my first provincial tournament back in may in Nova Scotia Canada but they got cancelled because of coved to aug but then they got cancelled to nov 18 so it gave me more time to watch your videos and train at home and go to the club once a week to pull on table with the guys and you helped me lost so far thank you and it would be amazing to get to train with you

    Competed in my first tournament last weekend after 4 months of practice. Wasn’t able to execute well on the ready go. Timing seems to be a struggle for me, where some guys hit before the go. Any suggestions for a newbie on the ready go? Planning on getting more team practice on ready gos

    Hey Coach! What are some tips on what you should be doing in setup on the systems you're familiar with? I have WAF rules where I comepete, I believe you're familiar with them. Alse maby talk about what was like when you pulled on the Devon-Michael-event, and maby what you think it should be allowed to reach for in terms of getting a good grip, you are very insightful, maby you have some contribution that eventually sticks, you really are a dedicated armwrestler.     More repetition - Moderate weight
    2-6 reps - heavy weight

    Sir please help me.... The question is how do we train for our maximum strength .. How should we maintain the volume and intensity of the week? I mean, for example, should we not do 1RM when we take tricep press per week..or how long should we do 1RM ??❤️

      Don`t do 1rm work for 6 reps heavy will be enough

      You can. Look for beginner or novice classes. Start talking with armwrestlers. Its never to late.
