An 18yo from Australia 'Gout Gout' is worth keeping on the radar after running a legal 20.87 last weekend. He's not as well developed as Issam, so has strength gains ahead.
Gatlin Bair, check him out. He's a junior and he doesn't even run full time.
He ran a 20.98 as a sophomore in high school
Gout Gout only turned 16 in December, 20.87 is wild for a 16 year old
This is a very promising time but let's not panic just yet... Others have done bigger at the same age
Gout gout is 15, do your research💀
Roy Martin ran 10.13 legal in HS and went to the Olympics as a junior
Love your vids.
Please make one on Gout Gout🙏
Every video a new greatest or best event love the energy you put into the channel
Bouwahjgie Nkrumie, Jamaican teenager, 9.99 100m
Edit: TRP has updated the title from "Meet The NEW FASTEST TEENAGER IN THE WORLD" to "Craziest High School Sprinter I've Ever Seen". The initial title is the reason I referenced Nkrumie.
so?
@@buckzee289 the headline is false. That's why.
Was it wind legal?
@@TheHuskyK9yep it was and he was looking around at 70 meter, he could have ran 9:97
@@TheHuskyK9 Wind was 0.3
Loving the range/versatility shown across 60/100/200/300m and you can include the 400m as well especially when talking about some of the top High School Female Sprinters. In fact, a video on the Top 3 US HS Female Sprint Talents in Adaejah Hodge, Shawnti Jackson & Mia Brahe-Pedersen would be great as well!
Great Analysis bro
saw him run at MO state last year...kids a beast
I agree, he did that stunning time even with a pretty bad start. Yeah, this guy is a rocket 🚀
Grateful thanks ! Incredible ---- remember , I told you so 😂 !!!!!!!
4:05 As a VERY retired collegiate 1/2 runner, ANY amount of headwind plays a big role psychologically. And that has to be genuinely one of the worst starts I’ve seen. Also proves he doesn’t just run his best relaxed out in front as I initially thought when I saw this time was ran by him.
Exciting talent. Wow
No one tlking bout the Jamaican high schooler who broke the ten seconds barrier
damn this clickbait actually fooled me i thought i missed him going 9.90...
America isn't the only country that has high school sprinters.
America has never claimed to be the only place that has high school sprinters. We have people from all over the world here.
@@vernonfrance2974 so why does TRP only add American high schoolers to his "all time" high school list?
@@tynibbs5759 In many countries they do not have internationally recognized techniques for measuring the wind speed, electronic timing and so on. I think TRP would recognize other countries' times if they were submitted by some approved body that oversees high school/secondary school performances. I don't think such a body exists at this time.
Many athletes have dual citizenship and those who compete in the USA such Issam Asinga are having their records recognized even though he is from Zimbabwe. Another example is Joseph Fahnbuleh who competes for Liberia but attended high school and some college here.
@@vernonfrance2974 japan has the measuring instruments.
@@tynibbs5759 Nice! I am sure that TRP will become more expansive and will look into Gout Gout and the Jamaicans.
Funny seeing Jeff Demps. Remember him being so fast on the football field
You should look at Gatlin Bair from Idaho. Bro ran 10.18 at texas relays 😭 not even his main sport either
NKrumie of Jamaica ran 9.99s in the ISSA boys and girls championship finals two weeks ago. That’s not mentioned.
Doesn’t fit his narrative.
@@steve-from-toronto Nope
But this host is amateur at best.
Literally had to run against that man at state last year. Dude is the definition of the high school goat 🐐
He’s easily going sub 10 and 20 seconds in the 100 and 200, respectfully
You're from Missouri?
@@iTpnk 🤦♂️
@@iTpnk yer

Gatlin Bair ran a wind legal 10.18 at the Texas relays as a high school junior and he doesn't even do track full time. This is his first year that he did just track and not play basketball during this time of the year. That's way more impressive.
Yeah I think gatlin Blair. Can run 10.10 or faster. By end of season.
@@trinidadrodriquez876 And he has PLENTY of room for improvement with his running form, especially in the early phase of the race.
It was 10.25 10.18 just over the limit 2.1
This is America's story 5 Jamaican high schoolers have gone faster than their fastest
@garnetbailey8704 Where do these five Jamaicans have their records registered? Have they submitted them to TRP or to an international athletic body which then publishes them?
Are they doing testing for prohibited substances under approved auspices. Do they consider wind speed, precipitation and do they have verified birth certificates?
@@vernonfrance2974 literally on the World athletics website M8
Jamaicans are Americans too and they are mostly African with some European admixture just like blacks from the USA. The fact that they speak a different language masks this commonality. (Joking about the different language. It sounds different but experts claim both groups speak English.) 🥸
Been waiting on this video for a long time, I thought I was the only one seeing this kid’s performances because no one was talking about it 😂
Trust, everyone will start talking about it
Ayyooo I didn't blink and saw Tyreek Hills' name on the list..wow
Issam Asinga is up and coming. This is his first year running in Florida with a coach team that really know how to train a sprinter. With increased knowledge and training, as he has previously stated in an interview, focusing on the little things that will come together, he is a young man to watch.
You need to change the title to USA athletes
Because I know there was a Jamaican teenager who ran sub 10 literally this month or late March
He's talking about High School athletes specifically in the US. That's not that hard to understand.
@@Eddybo22 the title initally said meet the fastest teenager in the world
Which the person in question definitively is not
He has changed the title now it's all good
@@RANDOMZBOSSMAN1 ah okay I never say that so I stand corrected.
If he learns to relax a little, his 200 will be way faster. You can clearly see him grimacing down the straightaway. Once he learns to sprint while relaxed, he's going to maintain his top speed much longer. I'm sure his college coaches will be on top of that.
Thanks UA-cam coach
@@andrewsnoke5013 You're welcome, internet punk.
Texas A&M will do him wonders. Great choice for sprint development
thanks random person on the internet
@@EyeQon Is this just what you losers do? Do you just talk trash on the internet because there's NOTHING about you that is a man in real life? I'll bet you learned something from my comment, so why don't you just be appreciative and act like an actual man?
Nkrumie of Jamaica ran 9.99 sec at Jamaica high school championship.
I like when TRP makes multiple videos in a day
Let's go
👍💪
Why is Yoshihide Kiryu's name missing from the high school records?
Yes
easly gonna break 10 this year!
How old are high school athletes in the states? An Aussie 15 year old just ran 20.87 to set the new junior record. Was that a false start in the 100 in this video?
It looked like it to me also. At 2022 worlds that easily would have been a false start.
Up to 19 very few.
What happened to trandavis friday
Knighton is still a teenager
"Fastest High Schooler in the US" you mean. "Fastest Teenager in the World" is wrong.
Exactly.
Sometimes it more than meet the eye
Is anyone gonna talk about how Tyreek Hill is 4th all time in the 200
FAT only wind
There's a kid in Australia 15yrs ran 10.43 and 20.87 Australian under 18 record
Different story but you should look up Drayden Dickmann and his progression this year. He just dropped a 10.16 in the 100meter. Running out of Georgetown Texas. Give him a shout out. Doing amazing things.
Love your content
as soon as I heard "florida" I knew.
Folks kinda got that Usain Bolt form
I’m waiting for a high schooler to run under 10 legally
Bouwajgie nkrumie Jamaican runner ran under ten seconds while looking around at 70-80’meter mark
its all fun and games till these athletes grow, some will improve some will never improve etc... i comentend about knighton and ppl said he will beat 19.19 and im still waiting he goes even near to his pb
No Nkrumie?😎🏁
bro back in like 2008 they had at kid at Ponchatoula High school he was a jr and ran 10.08 in the 100m it’s still our school record and the coach cut him because he was acting up in school but bro still ran a 10.08 John Alexander 😭
Bruh these teenagers getting faster
Amazing talent, hope he has a good family, coach and support system to help him as he develops. Where is running in NCAA?
He’s running at Texas A&M
0:40 Monteverde is STACKED with athletes
fr, they also have zyaire nuriddin too who I used to be friends with before he moved. Watched him run a 10.6 our sophomore year in semis. Won championships with a 10.79 in the 100, 21.83 in the 200, and 48 flat in the 400
Before the vid even started I knew he was from FL.... they different out there
crazy
Chidi unuoha is one to watch 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
3:19 That arrow is not pointing to the winner. The winner was on the right in the blue shorts
No a high school youth in Texas ran a 10.06 in the 100m just recently
I wonder what Houston McTear would have run the 100 m in while he was in high school. I can only find 100 yard times.
That is a name I haven't heard in a while.
Houston McTear ran a 100 yards in 9.0 secs in 1975 at the Florida State High School Championships. That converts to 10.24 secs for 100 m accounting for hand timing. He was essentially untrained and could have been much faster. Lost potential is the story of McTear's career.
bro has no drive phase😭😭he is going to be a problem
So, if we eliminate the slow reaction, the slip at the start, the head wind, the fact that he took second in the race, and we subtract the reaction time difference estimated by the naked eye then, yes, this is the craziest high school sprinter ever.
Erriyon knighton?
lol. Plus account for high tech shoes, sus headwind readings at most HS meets, the colour of the sky that day, his breakfast eggs being overdone, etc.
Asinga sounds like a Kisii or Luhya name if he is one of those communities even a second generation I'm not surprised I say they are an untapped talent.
look at quincy wilson too, in the 400
Geweldig hij heeft zijn ouders als voorbeeld figuren opgevolgd. Moge God hem behoeden en zijn toekomst begeleiden met Zijn machtige hand.
rodrick pleasant ran 10.14 too
A lot of the runner on the list, I have never heard of.
Apparently the world only consists of America 🤷🏽♂️
There's a Thai boy who was 16 when he ran 10.09s in the u20 champs semi-final last year And his 200m PB is 20.19s.
Dont bother. This guy knows nothing outside of murica.

Bouwahjgie Njrumine ran 9.99 at the high school Boys and girls championship in 100m in Jamaica 3weeks ago
Travon Brummell?
Wow
Reminds me of Coleman tbh with his form, which is weird bc his start isn't v good, but his top end looks similar to a young Christian Coleman
I don't see the resemblance.
Bro, you have all the athletic history. I don't know how you keep up, but every day I come here for your video breakdown.
What happened to Slade?
Please quote fastest in the USA.
Nkrumie from Kingston college high 9.99!!..
Watch out for Armand van der Walt, south african high schooler. 20. 47, he might run a lot faster in future. Rou b, CapeTown south africa 🇿🇦
You forgot Roy Martin on your fastest 100m list.
W
Jordan Anthony is on his third school
In three years? Lol. Is he still even playing football? Thought he had a good year running track at kentucky last year.
asinga... 9.93 and 19.94
0:34 Besides Noah Lyles in this list, none of these athletes were famous. Conclusion: High school phenoms in 100m most likely won't become successful pro track and field athletes.
Yup. Also, sus timing and wind-readings are common at the high school level due to lack of good tech.
TRP!!!!!
He's not running for USA and he's already qualified for worlds. He will run 9.91 and 19.93 this year and sign to adidas
This list must be old bcuz Nkrumie from Jamaica 🇯🇲 just run 9.99m in is 100.

The future belongs to Africa 🙌🏾
You have the white arrow in the wrong place - Asinga is in the Blue shorts.....well I presume so because that is the guy that won the 100m 😆
He came 2nd. A college athlete came first with 10.04
I guess the fastest High school 100m sprinters male and female hails from Jamaica. Please check them out…
Did you not heard of the Jamaican school boy who did 9.99 at boys championships 2023 in Jamaica?
He race against me in this video
What about travon and bowling
They both ran like a 9.97
Trayvon ran a wind legal 9.97. Boling's 9.99 run was run in hurricane wind conditions (+4.4 sec wind) and not wind legal.
Your list is correct except the first HS sprinter to run under 10.1 & that is JMee Samuels. Ran 10.08 legal in 2005. Broke Derrick Florence 10.13 which was the previous record at that time.
Runs a 9.83 a week later😂
Montverde Academy imports all kind of Africans for all their sports. Soccer, Track, Basketball.
2:25 People care about age, not whether they are on high school, college, or pros.
Probably true but the training and competition are different. It easier to get a faster time in a faster field.
@@donshields2379 You are acting like people can do what Knighton has done if placed in that environment. No, they can’t. He is one-in-a-trillion talent.
@@jakemccoy I was just stating a fact. People may not run as fast but their times would be fast. Why do you think a lot of high school kids race meets with college and pro runners. For the experience and fast times.
Totally agree.
He doesn’t come close to Knighten in the 200 and yes Knighten was still in high school regardless of the contract.
Knighten is phenomenal and can only be compared to Bolt.
So Usain Bolt didn’t run 19.9 in high school and nkrumie 9.9?
