    absolutely incredible looking ribs and that sauce sounds fantastic! I dig nothing better than slow smoked baby back with a sweet and HOT sauce. I'll have to try to find some of that when I'm out there next week

    Good looking ribs, is that a vinegar based sauce you were using? If so, do you mind giving the recipe?

    • @CentralTexasGrilling
      @CentralTexasGrilling  8 років тому

      Thanks Greg! The sauce was a commercial sauce that I doctored up, it isn't a vinegar base sauce, it's tomato base.

    Where did you get that rib candy from?

    • @CentralTexasGrilling
      @CentralTexasGrilling  9 років тому

      At a local BBQ store but you can get it on-line from their website. Just look up Texas Pepper Jelly

    hey James, please help me out , I got family visiting soon. So I decided 2 change it up . I'm thinking about trying some rib candy . which is best for me ??
    I really don't know because of the heat is it hot as he'll ?? keep in mind I'm not a Texan . 😁😁

    • @CentralTexasGrilling
      @CentralTexasGrilling  7 років тому +1

      I would go with the Apple Cherry Habanero Rib Candy. They
      have one that has twice the peppers but don’t get that one. The Apple Cherry
      Habanero is my absolute favorite, it’s what I use in competitions on my ribs. You
      get just a tad of heat but it’s not hot. I believe they have an Apple Cherry
      without the Habanero also. That one just proves some sweetness, but the
      Habanero one isn’t “hot”. Just gives it a little kick.

    How hot is it from a scale of 1 to 10 as 10 being hot as hell?

    • @CentralTexasGrilling
      @CentralTexasGrilling  5 місяців тому

      It's not hot at all. Most of the jellies or rib candies, when they say "hot" or something like that, it just means they have less sugar. I wouldn't even say it's a 3 on the scale
