- I built this bike starting from a Schwinn Stingray that looked like it had been run over by a car and left in the weeds for a few years. Lots of cutting, welding, fiberglass, paint, and electrical work all done by yours truly.
This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen grate job man
thanks!
Nice build. Looks good
Amazing bike, be proud of your work, I've never seen any bike as cool as yours.

Awesome built man ,congrats ; to bad All the mud is going to hit the horn,lol...
Not anymore! ua-cam.com/video/wGsM0tMX7Ts/v-deo.html
I want 1 with Ape Hangers
She's Tight 💚👊💨
MOTORIZE IT
Yep this would be really awesome. With one of those 80cc bicycle engines
Bro u definitely have to put a 212 predator engine on that
I put a 1000W bafang mid drive electric motor reprogrammed for 1500W on it. ua-cam.com/video/Zmmv8eWyFJ0/v-deo.html
why not just but a engine in there
Then it would be a horrible motorcyle. This way its a cool bicycle.
@@KarlsKrafts i mean are you going to put electric kit on there
@@inserthandlehere648 yes installed a BBSHD 1000 watt motor
For not being an electrical engineer you did some amazing work in my book!!
If they had a 212cc Predator engine attached to it motorcycle riders will most definitely say you're one of us 😎😎🤗
Add a electric motor to the back tire. 😍
$40k cheaper than a Harley
Its beautiful, the color is amazing i mean youve done a fine job. This isnt my channel , mine is wesleylawsallday. But ive seen alot of lowrider bikes and custom work and this is nice nice. All that work and you didnt recover the seat? Im not throwing off, roasting a lil bit, but whats up with it?
Just wanted to keep a little of the original on there.
Good job u got to it before I did planning something super similar with my lowrider trike only with subs in the bags hybrid gas electric plus built in rear facing back seat
well done! I am also bulding on a Stingray now and i must say:
This scene is getting cooler and cooler!
Great work!!
Did you see it become an ebike too?
oh yeah flowing frount finder
This is awesome. I am trying to build something like this right now. Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
Best of luck, it was challenging, and time consuming but worth the effort for a unique custom ride!
VERY VERY NICE, bike. sir. Those swept-back fender & bags are terrific. Did you weigh them? You generated more questions as you went. Where did you find the polystyrene for lining those nice bags? As involved as your lecture is on this, I missed many pieces of the audio that was trashed (intermittently) by the loud commercial radio crap beginning as you opened the lid over your electrical stuff. You did fairly well with much of the wiring for someone professing ignorance of it. Did you use an led replacement motorcycle headlight & front turn signals? Thank you again. If the boys in Tallehassee would return my license, I would arrange a visit.
I did not weight them. I was trying to keep them strong, but light. Weight was secondary. If I were to do it again, there is a few things I'd do different. I purchased the Polystyrene from USPlastic.com. They sell it in 4x8 sheets in various thicknesses. I did use a replacement motorcycle headlight and turn signals. They were just cheap Amazon lights. The headlight was marketed for a Harley and the turn signals were just generic. They were all separate parts and I drilled the headlight to mount the turn signals to it. Thank for the compliments! With wiring, I understand the concept of electricity but have no education. As I find a need for a function I google things until I can figure out a way to make it work. That's why I was so pleased with this as I had no idea if it would actually work as intended until the first time I turned it all on! LOL
SAXON!!! Fuck yeah!! So badass!!!! Great video!!!! Aaaaahhhhh!!!!! \m/
Nice bike next time let ,see you ride the thing? it look so low to the ground ??
I think I can work on that... I might wait till spring and do another walk around. Since this video I've built a new front fender, added a few speakers, and added a Bafang BBSHD mid drive motor.
I'm actually in a build now I'm building out a bagger style with a carbon fiber shell for weight I have a 29x3 front and the 20x4 rear with a 1500w electric hub your lid set up just solved a lot of headache for me since my bags were going to be for the battery and electronics but your setup will simplify it for me, plus having a separate electric system for a radio will make trips so much better I had given up honestly thanks again for the video
Love your setup im doing a motorized bicycle
Your craftsmanship is excellent and the results are beautiful but this thing must be difficult to actually ride especially with no motor or engine.
It's actually very easy to ride.
When a bike looks better than most motorcycles 😳 Good job man!
You should install a chrome polished 29 inch rim with a nice white wall tire in the front. But hey it looks bad ass just the way it looks great built buddy
great job dude you need a nice qwiet 4 stroke engine kit so cool
Thats awsome........... I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the detailed build report. I enjoyed hearing your thoughts of the how and why you did everything.
Mmmmm.... I see a billionaire right here!!!!
Aloha, love the bike. Would like your advice on a bike I’m making. Please DM me. 🤙🤙
I do not know how to do that!
I need one of them I'll put a motor on it
SICC
Did you do the fiberglass work yourself nice work fella
I did, thanks!
amazing bike
put an 80cc motor on it, totally would be bad ass!!
Need a 1000 watt ebike kit....and it would be Boss !
This video is old... It does have a 1000 watt ebike kit! ua-cam.com/video/Zmmv8eWyFJ0/v-deo.html
I'd ride it every day
Awesome giving me ideas lol
Thats some great work..👍
Looks good be cool if you could put on a 66cc engine on it
Thanks. I put a 1000 watt mid drive electric on it.
This must of been so hard to do love your work I would love to make my stingray into this
Do you have to duck walk it like every gagger.
No. You can ride it, push it, pick it up, or even duck walk it I suppose... Many options.
Your front end welding and widening is genius 😎 great video!
Thanks!
Roll good no kmobby
Coolest bike ever
my god, if i mailed you mine, how much would you charge to make this?
Probably a few thousand $. This has over $2k in parts/materials and over 100hrs of work that I'd charge about $30/hr. Depending on what options/parts you wanted, somewhere around $5k.
@@KarlsKrafts if only there was a way that you could make those bags and a kit and sell online :D thats a killer bike man, if you ever sell it, i gotta know!
@@1900theman subscribe if you haven't yet. I may be able to do that in the near future. If so ill have a video about it showing them off. Is your bike a Schwinn Stingray?
Say how can I contact you I'm trying to find out how I can get a custom bicycle
Yes! Keep those drinks cool like this sweet build!
👌🏼👊✌🏼
wow !
Awsome bike man ! Love love the bagger look u inspired me to make my own bike
Awesome!
Really nice job dude your ride looks awesome diggin the sound system on there
Can you purchase one of those bikes
No, this is a custom fabbed one-off that I built.
Very nice
It’s a bagger for people with a DUI
Beautiful...needs an engine.🤔 In India you would be a star! They LOVE bikes in this genre.
Followed this build on Facebook. GREAT job Sir. Respect
U did really good Karl, I'm very impressed with your bagger build, and in only 6 months, so tell me kind Sir.
Do you plan on building something different next??
Thank you for your time Karl.🙏✌
Always, I do not like duplicating projects!
Can you show us you riding it?
Ill make a video sometime in the next few weeks for yiu!
Where did u get the stuff because I stayed the night at my friends house least night and he was selling one for 30 bucks and I bought where did u get the stuff for it and then how did u get the decals off
I made the stuff! I also took more than the decals off... I cut the frame to bits, and then welded up a new frame using new 1.5" steel tube and parts from the original frame such as the bottom bracket, steer tube, and dropouts. I rebuilt the rear wheel with a Origin 8 disc brake fat bike hub and 8 speed casette. I made all the fiberglass parts from scratch. This is as custom as you can get, a one of a kind, with only the electronic components and mechanical bits being "off the shelf" items. I even built the entire wire harness for it from spools of wires.
A beautiful piece of craftsmanship I would say.
Why don't you lace an electric hub motor on the back and front wheels store the batteries in the bsgs
Cuz I don't wanna! Hub motors are heavy and so is this bike. Instead I went with a Bafang 1000watt mid drive motor. Smaller, lighter, and let's me keep my gears. ua-cam.com/video/0crgXzeLoSY/v-deo.html
More power than a Honda
Very Cool build! ManyThanx
Beautiful, now you have to make it electric so you can go fast without an effort 👍
I did! ua-cam.com/video/0crgXzeLoSY/v-deo.html
i have a mini bike i am trying to do the same thing to but i think i need a different frame what frame did you use?
I used an early 200's schwin stingray. I cut it apart and built a custom using the bottom bracket, steer tube, seat post, ect.
That’s dope as hell dawg good job 👏🏽
Electric bro!
It is now! ua-cam.com/video/Zmmv8eWyFJ0/v-deo.html
what would you charge to build something like this ? .. i would really like a fiberglass kit for this bike .
Thank you for the interest, however I'm not looking for work at this time.
Can't ride it for the video?
Didn't think about it. I have other videos of this bike, check out my channel Karl's Krafts
@@KarlsKrafts thanks brother
Is that Saxon playing? So how did you do 8 speeds on the hub?
For 8 speeds on the hub, I took apart the Schwinn wheel and laced in an Origin-8 FB2000 36H 170mm fat bike hub. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010TSTJZO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This then allowed me to install a Shimano CS-HG31 11-32T cassette, SHIMANO RD-M280 Altus Rear Derailleur, and Shimano ST-EF500 3x8 shift/brake set. Of course I needed some frame modifications to the rear dropout as well to mount the derailleur. Since I custom built the entire frame, a part of that was rebuilding the rear end specifically for this configuration.
Saxon music playing 🤘🤘🤘
i wanna do this to a 3wheel bike
It's a great bike, absolutely love it!
This is a sick bike bro 😎
I bet allot of people ask why dont you make it an Ebike or motorize it? Well, Why not? Bitchen bike by the way🏁💰👍👊✌
I did not have the money to do that up front with the electric motor I wanted. But it will be coming! I built it with the plan of doing that at some point.
👍
Indonisia hadir. Keren pengin pesen
Sorry, not for sale!
Nice work, I had to watch the whole video!
he took it to another level but its fire
All that work and no motor??
I built it to be able put this motor on a later date. The bike has about $2K in it, so later on I put another $1.2K into the motor/battery. ua-cam.com/video/Zmmv8eWyFJ0/v-deo.html
Ah much better to hear BEAUTIFUL bike man
I came on here expecting to roll my eyes like I tend to do with a lot of random builds that pop up in my feed, but man you killed it on this! Nice job!!
Thanks. I try to fab everything to look as if it were meant to be that way. I don't cut corners and spend way too much time trying to get things right! LOL
Dope so I love the bike so do u have any pics of the process?? Like before u painted it and how bike looks before and after?
I do have a few hundred build pics. Maybe ill make a slide show to put up?
@@KarlsKrafts please do. and if possible do you have a wiring diagram? Im struggling to learn how to wire up these parts on a bike. Im not overly concerned with the music aspect, more so the main components to get to "street legal"
It’s ugly
It's beautiful
It's your opinion
