Hi A B C' s Of BETH. I am Leonard Chris Erasmus and i'm 49 years of age,and from SOUTH AFRICA,and i must say that your Schwinn StingRay Chopper Bike is especially really very awesome, and i actually likes all the others too, with Thier different colours and version types. To be really honest with you,is that i really do wish, that i really could afford one like yours, but unfortunately for me,is that i really can't afford one, because i really earn just enough money to survive, because i unfortunately work at one of our SOUTH AFRICA POST OFFICES.
So I'll give you a little info alot of people may not know. Originally the chopper stingray was a collaboration with harley davidson. For some reason that we don't know they ended the collaboration before they were produced. Schwinn needed a name behind the bike so they got in touch with Orange County choppers. I've had both versions with and without the OCC styling. I'd assume they started producing the stingray before officially partnering with OCC. they had alot of changes like adding front fenders or pegs and also front breaks. One option I didn't know existed until recently was higher stock handlebars. I've seen all of these parts on OCC branded and non-OCC branded bikes. They are the same like alot of people are saying except for the branding. All in All they're great bikes. I own 3 and plan on getting more. I also want make one into an Ebike too.
*I reversed one of the pedals so they both go in the same direction to use as my foot rest.. it's kinda dangerous to ride at fairly high speeds with your feet mounted on the forks..it limits your steering control (esp. while turning) & doesn't allow much reaction time to prevent accidents/falls*
Oh, I know. I just like the look of it. It's really dangerous all around. I guess that's why I like it;). Please subscribe to my channel it doesn't cost anything.
Joe Edwards in Alabama has over 20 schwinn s. rays. Has seems to know a thing or two that may give you more info on history, limited production runs on o.c.c bikes.
@@jehleauto Good morning. Your welcome, btw, lol...So, as I mentioned and I dont know if you are already acquainted with the man and his collection but if not, Joe Edward has a channel on YT as well. Look him up by his name. He has put out a video highlighting his 20 plus O.C.C. Schwinn Sting Rays. Its detailed. In the video he discusses a number of things regarding these these cool, old skool, neovu, retro, pedal powered choppers. Things, as a fan, even I, never knew. Hope this info helps. Have an awesome day :)

It’s the same bike, different colors and decals. 900,000 units were made in total. Both of your models are Walmart editions.
