Early stages of this video shows one of the most annoying issues with public transport today, people (usually younger folks) playing their crappy music out loud on crappy sounding phones. None of them seem to own head phones or earphones these days. The other big one, and this time it's mainly the adults, is that people today don't seem to know how to have a private phone conversation. They use video calling and proceed to shout at each other so we all have to put up with it. Noise cancelling headphones or earphones are a must for anyone who uses public transport regularly these days.
I Have lived in NSW Australia for over 40 years brought up in Kilwinning interested to note how much has stayed relatively untouched in the village centers in that space of time.

Really striking how you can always tell that the water is near, even though you can't see it.
Thank you. I used to drive this route when the ALX 400 Trident 2's were still in A1 colours. They were beasts to drive.
So this route was previously known as service A1? I thought I’ve got a model of it🤔
The Number 11 is definitely a journey with 'characters' lol. It's like The Hills Have Eyes was on a bus lol.

I always mute the video/audio but fire up a soundtrack from Spotify to run concurrently. Much better. But tx for a nice run.
I used to drive for the A1 around 50 years ago.
Dusty Millar...now there is a blast from the past. My mum was an A1 clippie, Ruby, worked for Docherty then Tam Hill.
I would get so bored driving a voith mmc around all day ..driving wise they are so boring and restricted
