Omg hardly anything left of the original R, what a build - highly impressed and the track work is also brilliant - thanks for making these. I'm off shopping.
The attention to detail in your videos and explaining things is insane. So many race shops/teams are incredibly secretive. Garage builders and general enthusiasts like myself never get inside killer race bike builds like yours. Incredible channel keep up the awesome content and builds
I wish I wasn't so scared of Electronics, wiring and related components, Nice to know that there are people out there who have their heads 100% around. Well done! Look foward to seeing the build progress...
These new European V engines are definitely impressive and I'm definitely a I4 lover. Really appreciate the transparency on making a mistake because far to many shops don't have the balls to say we were wrong.
This project is just amazing... stuff of dreams really! I know it's been a while since you guys did your R1 and there were no videos back then but what exhaust would you recommend for a 15-19 R1 for 100% track use? Noise limits are not an issue here either.
Hello SBU, I love and following this project very closely. I also noticed on your website that you also distribute SC-Project. How do you think this Termignoni WSBK full system exhaust will perform (hp and torque) compare with the SC-Project WSBK full system exhaust Part Number: D26A-SBK-R? The main difference I can see visually is the design of the pipe going to the left silencer where the Termignoni had a much longer pipe to the left silencer. Have you had a client with the SC-Project WSBK full system exhaust installed? Thanks
Love the content bro. Is there just 2 of you guys in the workshop? Product development always takes the most time ironing out all the issues and getting things right. 👊👌
@@SuperbikeUnlimited Good on you guys. Thanks for sharing your work. I'm a race mechanic as well. Most of my time has been with cars. However working on bikes from home now and absolutely loving the engineering that allows bikes to perform as they do. Now watching your level of builds is just awesome. Hope all goes well with testing at the track. Cheers
Saw the Instagram post that this video was up and probably got more excited than I should have😂😂😂 as always, good shit guys. Can’t wait to see the next one. And I’m guessing the test was supposed to be at Barber last weekend?
@@SuperbikeUnlimited Understandable, especially after watching the video. Still a bummer cause the weather was perfect for some good riding and it would have been awesome to see in person again!

Is the airbox just covered in reflective heat tape? Interesting idea. Also, you mentioned the IMU going with the new cradle. Is there a benefit to moving the IMU from its original position behind the dash (or just in front for the corse bikes) to the cradle in front of the gas tank? Also, what was your solution for capping/eliminating the cooling fan and purge valve connectors? Haven't been able to source a plug for those, though I imagine you might have just turned them off in the ECU to stop the codes being thrown from disconnecting them.
We are using a MoTeC ECU. It is not looking for any sensor that we don't specifically program into the firmware. The stock IMU has been eliminated for a race-grade product. It is best mounted around the airbox, or centrally.
What’s the logic for the newer version service life? That seems super wild to me. I can’t imagine a large chunk of aluminum like that having a “service life”.
We know that they made the first generation version, we've not seen that information on later generations. Of course that doesn't mean it's not the case. The version we have is nothing like the option direct from Pierobon.
It's very hard to get Ducati's sounding good on camera but this sounds incredible.

That swingarm would cost a fair bit of cash. Is it longer length than a standard stock Ducati? The bike looks like a monster though, love the exhaust.

Can I trade my G/F and a Honda Grom for one of these bikes?
I can't wait to see this bike on the track👍
Nice bike. You guys gonna put a holeshot device? I’m currently prototyping one for my factory Suzuki sbk right now... gonna be sick

We really like both, but we chose the one that we believe to be the absolute best exhaust for the V4 R. For the money, go with the special Termi.

Yep! Only 2 technical staff at the shop for now. We have had 3 before and may return to that in the future.

Wow that swingarm is impressive addition great build.
Prepare well and do well in race. Great progress on the bike.
So exited for this build. Though I have to ask, how much are all these upgrades cost all together.
You can quote much of this with the links in the description.

Wow, impressive build!!how will this bike compare to the Superleggera in both handling/weight and power?
Hard to say, but the Superleggera will definitely be lighter!
impressive work, a crazy motorcycle, greetings from Spain 💪
Many thanks!
wow that sounded so cool
Name it, the envy machine!!!
Is it possible to have poping/flames on a decel with that upmap kit? That exhaust looks really sweet.

Why doesnt anyone race the rsv4 anymore? Would be cool to see an rsv4 superbike build
Congrats on the new truck
Pierbon doesn’t make the Corse swingarm any longer? I thought Pierbon made the Corse swing arm and old frames.
The first generation one was indeed made by them

Pneumatic adjuster is approx 1000 the tool is about 500.
Can you tell how many HP your Kawasaki sbk spec did on the Dyno?
Great video guys
Good series as usual.... you guys going to do a final build episode?
It's going to be ongoing!
Very inspirational ! Thank you.
Im goin to buy the termignoni exhaust, termignoni 4uscite givin +16 HP on their website, what about termignoni wsbk?
Certainly more, but we cannot compare evenly because we did the MoTeC upgrade at the same time.

Metal fatigues, just like anything. It's very flexible, in time this causes potential for failure.
The newer version is thinner and I thiiink it has carbon fiber bonded to it as stiffener.
@@Jose.LQ6 That's just a cover, but yes, it is much smaller in several hey areas, very little bracing.

I see Italian bikes haven't changed much in the 20 years since I had one
Class-leading horsepower, counter rotating crank, 16,500 RPM from a 1,000cc 4 cylinder, just to name a few things - They've changed quite a lot!
"Not a pierobon swing arm, It's a proper corse one.." Ugh.. You know Pierobon make all of the swingers for Corse, right?
