One of mine dide the same and I've just been putting a new knot in it every time it breaks. It's finally given in enough that I need to replace it, so I'll be using 1.7mm kevlar cord! Thanks!
I’ve followed these instructions and still have a lot of bounce on my Mountain Vest 5.0 when I have a full pack. The white mesh and the blue pack material basically just rub up against each other which makes an annoying noise whilst running. Any ideas?
Hi Ivan. We're very sorry to hear you're having this issue! It definitely should not be chaffing there. It sounds like the vest might not be cinched properly, but our customer service team would be happy to talk you through troubleshooting. The easiest way to reach them is Monday - Friday, 8AM-4PM MST using the chat box function on the lower right corner of our website (www.ultimatedirection.com)
great vest but be careful with pulling things too tight as loops etc are quite frail. Just exercise a bit of common sense and caution. I like UD over Salomon as Salomon is a bit too stretchy so when you have filled it up, no matter how much you tighten things, it all bounces around, super annoying to me.
The adjustability range is not "huge" whatsoever! My ribs are 35" (right in the middle of the recommended range of 30-39" for the medium". With comfort cinch cranked down all the way my front bottles are still much too close together (i.e., far forward). At the end of the video the model has loose straps and lines flopping all over the place, and will be driven crazy by that bouncing within 10 minutes of running. What a crappy vest. Fingers crossed I can find some poor sucker on eBay to buy mine.
Thank you. I missed the loop at the top. Helps quite a bit.
Love this vest. 👍👍👍
On of the cinch cords failed on my ADV 5.0 after at about 80km of use. I replaced it with 1.7mm Kevlar cord and it's been holding up great since.

This is so helpful for such a technically designed bad. Thank you🙏🏼
This looks cool!

The vertical movement of the vest is absolutely unbelievable. "Comfort cinch" is a silly gimmick that fails miserably at its main job.
@@IsaacWait so it’s not just me then. I have stopped using mine and have gone back to using my Salomon Adv 12.
Tried Race 5.0 on 6 mile run today and it chafed my neck badly with all straps tight. Help! What am I doing wrong?

the new bottles developed a pinhole leak within 30 days of when I got it. Cannot honestly recommend this vest
