Aaron is the most honest and informative reviewer/perfumer on UA-cam. Noone else comes close. I used to watch others too, but after finding out about Aaron, they sound too amateur/biased/non-informative

Tom Ford Collection is what got me into the fragrance scene, namely Black Orchid. And when I found out Michael Jackson wore Black Orchid, even more perfect. Black Orchid and Tobacco Vanille are one of the best made scents in MY OPINION.
BO edp and Creed Aventus were my gateways into the big frag world haha

Just bought Black Orchid (EDP) yesterday. It's pretty good and the fragrance smells even better throughout the day as it dries on your skin. This is gonna replace Tobacco Vanille for my daily use.

I find on the dry down , there’s more going on in the edp compared to the parfum. Like a crowded street full of traffic compared to a country road with not much on it . I know it’s a weird analogy but it’s the best I can do .
I absolutely love the EDP, it is just perfect for me and smells absolutely beautiful on me and a bit more flowery, I get compliments on it a lot so I wear it most of the time. And it adapts to my mood some how...Also this is the only perfume I can wear to bed. When I tried it for the first time I really had visions of different images and a firework in my head, it is telling different stories to me... I feel it like a real entity or a big black wild cat that can also be cuddly with chosen people. I am happy to know that Perfume in a golden bottle is not really different as I wanted to try it but thought it can be very different if they add other notes and my perfect harmony would be ruined 😄 EDT I wasn't interested in buying as I expected it to be a watered down version. Thank you for the review, your videos are really special 😊

Hi Aaron. I'm a huge fan of your channel. I would love to know what you think of Tom Ford for Men Extreme (not Noir Extreme), that is now discontinued, I believe. To me it smells similar til Black Orchid, but it's a bit more masculine leaning. Anyway, I would love to see a video about that one and hear your thoughts on it, as it is my personal favourite Tom Ford fragrance.

There is a nice Clone of black Orchid.....Ard Al Zaafaran 0ud 24 hours. It's a great Combi of all 3 Versions. Really nice Fragrance.
I'd say that EDT is the most wearable from the bunch, it's not as earthy and dark as the other two

I liked Black Orchid EDP/ Parfum.
Though I thought the Parfum could have used a few additional notes. Myrrh ,Cacao, Coffee and Cinnamon could have been a great addition. Maybe take out the florals and add those notes in? I'm not sure how that would interact with the other notes.
Interesting thoughts there, could definitely imagine it with those additions. Think a coffee note would’ve worked well with the rum and truffle.

Get the tester kit, you get almost all of his fragrances to test out! You might discover some hidden gems you would not think of...

Don’t overthink it.
It depends on the mood I guess. When I am in the mood for something fresh, I don't go for red tobacco. When I smell red tobacco, I might give it a lower figure as to when I am in the mood for a dark dense fragrance.

In Europe no. Go watch his video about it in his channel. Has to do with shipping costs and all. I wish he would partner up with a big parfume distributor in Europe so we can smell his awesome fragrances without having to pay almost double for it...😢

I can't comment on the EDT or EDP but I can on the Parfum. Lovely unique fragrance but definitely unisex maybe even leaning more towards feminine. I got a tester first and those two sprays on my wrist lasted all day, even through a 12 hour shift at work, but, I was sniffing it up close🤔 so I went and ordered the 100ml bottle. Black Orchid Parfum is my biggest fragrance disappointment...it is a skin scent on me and a close one at that. So yeah, the intenser concentration lasts longer but it has absolutely zero projection. So lesson learnt...longer lasting does not always equate to beast mode or any projection.😔

Black Orchid edt is my moms signature scent so i'd feel weird even thinking of wear it....i find it too feminine anyways.
