A group of nursing students bullied me, but I’m also targeted everywhere I work or attend school. I take it personally, though… 🤦🏼‍♀️They made fun of how I talk, walk, dress, and just for being alive.

This video helps tremendously. I was horribly bullied by classmates and teachers. I internalized everything and it eventually lead to self sabotage. I received several academic scholarships. And maintained a 3.9 g.p.a for several semesters . My clinical teacher told me that I was dumb and for some odd reason I believed her. I’m in the process of pulling myself out of a dark place that bullying put me in. Thank you for this.

don't forget the bullies, often times, are the nurses you are around in clinicals too. The entire pediatrics floor in my second semester. They took it to the higher level with me and some other fellow students. ultimately, i used them as a learning tool, of what not to be when it's my turn to have students follow. They didn't realize it, but, they were one of the best tools I could use and it cracks me up, because they thought they had power.

I just wanted to say thank you for this particular video because I have been experiencing horrible bullying from mostly everybody in my class even some of my teachers except for maybe one person so I do feel alone sometimes while most of the time but I have come to the conclusion of the things that you have said and I went up in that out and it has chilled out a lot so I'm able to focus more on what I'm doing but it was a horrible distraction that I was not ready for I'm a 50-year-old nursing student initially I'm a CNA and going in and there are LPNs who think they know everything and I'm just a CNA who blurts out the wrong answer majority of the time and then when I do blurt out a right answer I get a whole bunch of whole homes and oh my gosh so that's a little disheartening but I'm getting better at it and I just want to say thank you for your message because it does help it lets me know that I'm not alone and for me to keep forging forward, 💜

Thankfully at the stage of my career where I am can work independently. And no, I know not all female nurses are like this. Keep up great posts.

In the beginning of nursing school I befriended a fellow student who seemed nice. By the second year things changed. I don’t think I noticed it at first. She was telling me a fellow student was talking about me and I said wow I can’t believe how fake she is and then told the girl what I said but not left that she told me the girl was talking about me. She would make fun of a girl and smile in her face that and when I was going to send that girl a study guide she told me not to because the girl never helps us. When I approached her about this she denied it all like she never did any of it and tried to act like I was crazy and hearing things. Now since I confronted her both of the girls she talked about and made fun of follow her around and purposefully exclude me. It’s like the movie mean girls. It is frustrating knowing that someone can lie and be so mean. I don’t know how to handle this. I dread clinical. It started to make me think there was something wrong with me. I am nice, I go out of my way to help anyone who needs it… I don’t know why it’s happening or how to stop it. I’m really depressed.

I had surgery few years ago. I woke up in the recovery room with 4 female nurses hovering over me giggling and my gown lifted up to my chest. I kinda sat up a bit, I guess they realized I was starting to come to it, one quick pulled my gown down and the other 3 left the room right away. I had a female nurse tell me once, a local TV anchor had surgery, word spread throughout the unit among the female nurses and female employees. So afterwards while he was still sedated from anesthesia, like 30 or so female nurses took turns shuffling in, I'm guessing the recovery room, and lifted his gown up. They thought it was HILARIOUS to sexually degrade him while he was unconscious. 30 or so nurses and NOT ONE had a conscious to stop it or report it? Kinda refutes the argument of it being just a few bad apples or its SUCH a small percentage of female nurses that do this stuff. And even the female nurses who dont partake in this sick n twisted female nurse ritual of sexually assaulting innocent defenseless unconscious male patients under anesthesia but turn a blind eye to the ones that do are JUST as complicit, they ABSOLUTELY would report it if it were male hospital employees doing this to unconscious female patients but they ignore it because its being done to male patients by females.
I could go on and on and on and on with stories. I know female nurses HATE talking about this. They would rather ignore it and continue to let our sons, fathers, brothers, husbands, favorite uncles, our best friend's sons, nephews, etc continue to get sexually assaulted by female nurses at hospitals. I just think its narcissistic and selfish for female nurses to complain that their fellow female nurses bully them, meanwhile they turn a blind eye to those same bully female nurses sexually assault their unconscious male patients they are paid to look after

@@glindabustamante447 thank you, I appreciate it. Just know this happens to A LOT of guys. Including male loved one of YOURS. Your brother, son, father, your best friend's sons, husband, nephews, etc. Having a few female nurses say they are sorry is one things, but I would obviously rather female nurses put a stop to this and start reporting the ones that sexually assault unconscious male patients. That would be more productive.
