I downsized on some Razors SLs and couldn't take the pain of the stock liners. replaced them with these and lovely, lovely. they are ideal for downsizing, imo.
I'm thinking of getting these for a pair of SL's too. It looks like the v-cut of the liner comes a bit lower than the cuff. Is this noticeable when you skate?
These are good but the padding is not thick enough. I have them for a while now and also the tongue twists a little, also also, the tongue padding is thinner on the right foot. Just ordered the V2s. If anybody is looking for solid support and fat padding the V2s are better. If you´re downsizing, and your ankles/shin are not too thin like mine, these are the ones to get. Other than that, stick to the V2s, they have thicker padding and if your shell is short (say razors shell 7 and you get size 8 liners for instance), the toe area of the liner will protect your toes better as well. The neoprene on the V3 will have the plastic of the shell touching your toes and believe me that´s not good. Great review though, Lino! Awesome video as usual! Obrigado pelo belo trabalho como sempre! Mantendo a chama acesa e representando o inline no youtube como ninguém! Maravilha irmão!
Thanks for confirming my findings! I travelled to the UK last September and paid a visit to Loco Skate Shop where I tried these in my Next boots. They offer really nice padding around the heel and achilles tendon and the tongue is thicker on the lower end than the stock MyFit Fat Boy Liners which makes it possible for me to finally properly close the 45° strap without having to apply too much pressure and break off some of the teeth of the ratchet straps...! The benefits show in most if not all boots. These liners are amazing! Thank you Lino for the nice rewiev!
@@RicardoLino You´re welcome! Other than what I added you explained everything else perfectly aready. ;-) Just one more thing: I compared them to Intuition V2s in the shop as well and the material in the toe area is too thick for my feet, takes up too much space, therefore cramps my toes. In that regard the Reign v3s are similar to MyFits. And yes, the Reigns insole is great. Support in the arch is SUPER IMPORTANT people!

Was not sure about this one or the Intuition one. Will go for this one now. @Ricard: it would be interesting which are the best ones on the market, as you mentioned in the end of the video. I have the second skin in my Aeon and I don’t think I need this one, but after watching your review, somehow I want to buy it! It’s cool that we have this great quality aftermarket liners nowadays! Thanks Lino!
200% woith you.. the second skin is a great liner and it amazes me that come stock on an "affordable" skate :) but these ones took the cherry on top of the cake for me now..hehehe
I loved the jug white Sox liner and the dre Powell liners from jug loved the trust liner now I have a cult liner in a sl only because that’s all I had works. I skate my skates very loose I’m sure most people would hate it lol
Hey Ricardo! When I was in the market for new liners for my Aeon Basic 60s (couldn't stand the stock MyFits, compressed my toebox, found the tongue intolerable for my wrecked ankles, just no support) I called up RollerWarehouse in Northern California and they let me try on a BUNCH of liners with my aeons - MyFits, Intuitions, Reigns... I even got to try those blue them/intuition liners, but they wouldn't fit without upsizing the aeon shell actually! But out of every liner I tried, I found that I liked the Reign V3-Vcut liners the most. One issue I had with them was a weird pressure on my achilles tendon. What I did was remove my aeon's shock absorber and put it inside the liner under the insert. I even use both shock absorber and the Reign's insole in my FR1 Deluxe skates! Anyway, I was skating for like three or four hours the other day, and an issue I kept having was my right liner's tongue shifting outward, clockwise around my ankle. It was ok at first, but it eventually the edge of the tongue gave me a blister on the top of my ankle, and I rarely suffer blisters. Tongue drift? That sounds weird. Any ideas to combat tongue drift?

@@Justvidz23Justvidz23 no, not yet bought anything. Let me know if you have a solution! (:
Igor Gaasbeek I ordered a pair of Reign liners. Phone call today says they sold out of my size. I’m in Aus so I have to wait... So I moved my frame inwards slightly and also removed the shock absorbers. Night and day difference. Might work for you too! Good luck!
@@Justvidz23Justvidz23 Thanks for the tip! (: Will try this for sure :D Let me know how you like the liners!
Igor Gaasbeek sold out! But was told there’s a new Reign v3 2.0 coming out within the nexts few months! So I’ll wait!
I have skated intuition, blank, and Reign And I have to say the Reign’s are superior in almost every way.
👍🏻 I would say they are superior as the others gave other pros. Intuitions are AMAZING but at a whole different price league. Myfit also have some amazing liners. And on some skates might fit better then these.. but all in all.. forvtge skates I use. These are at the moment what suits me better 😎👊🏼
Droppy Comment!:)
