When I was younger, it took me an entire year to realise that heart crystals increase your max hp, I used to think it just healed u by 20 instead

It took me two years before I found out you could go to handmode. Never realized the wall of flesh existed until I was at hell and a doll fell on the lake by accident.
Python: *whilst talking about his amber gemcorn, walks straight past a big chunk of amethyst ore, enough to make a grappling hook*

I think the calamity summoner class would be really fun because of the 1.4 whips and new whips which will be added by the calamity mod shortly

Took me 2 attempts to beat scal while it had taken me 158 as a melee 💀💀
Here's something to note about the Eye of Cthulhu that I know know thanks to the Boss Checklist.
The Eye has a 1/3 chance of spawning every single night once you reach 200 HP or above until you defeat it. Yeah... in other words, stay under 200 before you're feeling ready enough to fight it.
Pfffffffft, where's the fun in that? I like being scared outta my mind! 😝🤣

really love that you use a facecam now, a suggestion which i feel like would be cool is the outline of your cam to be the same as the outline on the map in the game! so it matches.

I love watching Python because whenever he plays terraria he really takes it slow and you can get another appreciation for all the effort the creators have put in. A lot of people know how to play and they progress quickly, but despite Python being a veteran, he has always went slow and still had fun with it. Keep up the good work mate

someone forgot that once you hit 200 health, boss fights become a thing. I didn't pick up the name plate addon, but did get magic storage. I still use chests for obvious things, but the storage was more to keep down clutter and crafting without having to run around finding the right station.
I was not expecting the COTD, thanks man and keep up the content!

theres a mod called lighting essentials and it makes everything glow a little bit which would make the game look even better!
agree is nice for finding ores without spelunker potions but just looks nice in general.
its called lights and shadow and doesnt exactly "make everything glow" it re textures the lighting to a higher resolution in a simple sense and makes light drawing come from the sun and automatically changes where and how the gamma is shaped at on ur screen kinda like shading

Superb stuff Python! I've always been a fan of Thorium, but as it's not yet available I decided to give Calamity a try. I'm genuinely amazed at the amount of content this mod has. I am currently in a 14ish hour save, and and I can honestly say I am quite happy with it :) But I came here to say thank you for showing me the Lights and Shadows mod, simply an amazing touch to an already great game. Good stuff as always 👍👍

Python! I was just here to say that you could do some kind of theming on the NPC houses so they fit the biome, like living wood houses on the second forest pylon

Always loved watching you play Calamity mod! I have feelings this series will be excellent, and so far it is. Would you ever consider making another Cities: Skylines series on your Python channel? The Topaz staff you threw away in episode 1 does 15 magic damage and is also only 2 mana. it might be worth checking out other gem staves if their mana is also reduced

Hey python, I'm also playing my ranger playthrough in vanilla terraria. I would recommend you to straight up go for the necro armor because in the drunk world seed, you can farm for bones in the drunk world dungeon without having to worry about the dungeon guardian.
Your should definitely make that bee hive into your jungle pylon base. Keep up the great work!

2 in 2 days? Oh im hyped right now! Maybe go for the hive mind/Perforators before eater/Brain. It is possible and could be a fun twist on progression because hive mind is meant to be post eater. Could be a fun idea! Loving the videos Craig!

Hey python if you have a spare accessory slot I recommend making the Spirit Glyph it only costs 15 iron and 5 diamond and gives +2 to life regen, 10% minion DMG boost and random buffs when your minions hit a enemy.

I’m new to modded and i love it I got some parts of the wulfrum armor and it’s pretty good for early game so far
If you are new to calamity I recommend going to the wiki and doinga bit of research on what to do for bosses because it is alot to unpack
I don't think making a second forest pylon base near the farthest left side of the world was a good idea, because you will have the ocean pylon there anyways.

Hey Python! Love your work. I just want you to be wary of something. I tried to do a modded play through, but I can’t summon any bosses without my character freezing in place. It’s probably just a bug for me, so I don’t know if this will come to fruition, but it’s something to keep in the back of the mind.

Will you use magic storage in the future, or is it not your thing? I personally use it to save time and avoid organization frustration, but it has been nice watching you make storage areas in previous series, so I definitely don't mind if you leave magic storage out.
It dosnt work in 1.4, i tried it but they wouldnt connect properly. When I tried to open up the storage it would just close itself after a split second

The drunk world seed is how normal Terraria worlds should generate in my opinion... well mostly the both evils and all sets of ores part anyway! 😃

Python it's very likely that when you fight the devourer of gods, supreme calamitas, and possibly yharim you will probably need to turn off some of your mods to increase fps, im using a 5600x right now (comparable to the 9900k) and my game is unplayable against the DoG

Whenever I’m trying to create a new calamity world, all the area where calamity biomes should be are replaced by nothing but background walls. I was hoping somebody could tell me how to fix this?
mods having conflicts or just a one time bug create a new world or maybe u didnt install the official mod
