Cool this is the representation of present day modern era technological advencement of railway after India Independence with double headed modern locomotives in the rear of the coached as well with full power haul in the Barak Valley hill section.
I am a Sri Lankan, I've watched number of clips on narrow gauge trains of this line, happy to see fast spacious broad trains...........but feel sorry for slim beauties before.
Thank you so much for this video.. Brought me back my childhood days.. I was able to share this beautiful journey with my daughter through ur video..lots of love and good wishes to you😇🙏
First time watching vlog on this part part of the country, shocked to see the Beautiful journey gives konkan a run for the money, excellent coverage and beautiful locales
I saw this Vlog a couple of times in 2020 during the Covid break, and have returned once again now. This by far is the best video done on the exotic and exquisite experience of NorthEast by train in rains. This is worthy of a promotional campaign for Visit North East by Indian Railways.
Thankfully the train was 10 hours late. Hence we could witness such a beautiful video from your lens. The nature also knew that you will be making video of the journey on that particular day, hence it turned beautiful as well. Fantastic work
I was always fascinated by Konkan railways and every year in monsoon I do a Konkan railway trip from Mangalore to Mumbai and back. This is also wow. Amazing capture. Fabulous weather, the clouds the rain simplely awesome. I need to do this stretch. Thank you for letting us what an incredible hidden beauty this is.
Journey through the clouds, rain, eog roar in the tunnels, exhilarating as satisfying... speechless and awestruck!!.. magical video... so u deboarded the train @ Badarpur?. The tracks following the river reminded me of how the roads follow the river in Leh/Ladakh.... super man..
Beautiful montage in the beginning! The North Cachar HIlls! WOuld have been good if you culd have shared the railway history of this track! There's always a next time! Kudos!
Splendid camera work sir..it was a chance of a.lifetime that the train got late n u cud shoot such a superb view of India's pride the Himalayan scenic panaroma...such a luvly vdo..I watched over n over again..I felt am transported mentally wth u in the same train viewing hungrily natues pure n serenep beauty..fantastic vdo wrk..
From Steam Engine to Train Set ! The journey of Indian Railways continues since last 167 years.. -16th April 1853 HAPPY BIRTHDAY INDIAN RAILWAYS !!
Amazing video...made sure to watch completely just becoz of its natural beauty & that amazing sound of the train...also the train was so huge/long..one suggestion would be great if you can mention the number of boogies if the train is such long exceptionally. Thanks
A really beautiful journey and even more so is your camerawork. I believe you were very close to the generator car, as there was a continuous buzz of it in the background. Were there extra 2 coaches added in the rear end? As they are attached behind the gen car. Also could any of the viewers / pax who might have traveled on this train pls mention about the onboard housekeeping and toilet’s cleanliness on this very long journey train.
Is the entire stretch a ghat section where you have shot the video? The shooting has been breathtaking & sights are like once in a lifetime views especially due to the monsoon. The speeds on the route is quite slow, almost every curve has a speed restriction and every tunnel has a speed limit board ahead of it. This track was recently laid, any reason why the speeds are so low? The train never seems to attain more than 50-60kmph and slows down to 15-20kmph before practically every tunnel/bridge or tight curve. Was the BG track alignment done without bothering much about at what speeds trains could run?
BG line alignment is far away from mg one after Halflong towards Badarpur till it crosses Jatinga river..The new Halflong station was freshly made ,The older mg section use to have station as Lower Halflong , and Halflong hill .Also Bg section travels on eastern side of Jatinga whereas the mg line was on the other side of river for quite a distance .but the best part of this route is the N curve ,which is very similar to road climbing height with two hair pin bends
North east is a paradise in India, especially in rainy season, thanks for uploading train journey in rainy season
Mera desh Bharat is most beautiful country in the world..love you BHARAT.

The BG alignment is slightly different from the MG alignment as BG was laid when MG was still in operation :)
