Extremely honest review . Owning the Sx ( o ) diesel MT 2020 model of the creta , totally agree with regard to the braking . All in all it has been a very satisfying ownership experience !!
My creta clocked almost 10000 km in one year. No issues till date. Headlight is very unadequate in the highway. Headlight of older creta was much satisfactory. This is the only issue I face.

Yes, the headlight is not that bright. Can somehow manage in the straight portion of road/highway. But in sharp turning hilly roads the Headlight is very much inadequate.
Cornering light is not an luxury it's an necessity.
As we live in hilly area with sharp turning roads driving the creta at night is a big problem. I am very much disappointed with the absent of cornering light in it, which is the only think I don't like in creta.

No wonder it has been the most selling in its segment. Creta never fails to impress. The design has grown on people with time and when you see it on road it looks like a totally different breed.

Things I like as a creta 2020 owner
1. Engine Refinement and lower NVH levels
2. Spacious cabin
3. Amazing seating position and cushioning
4.very effective air con
5. Good suspension
Things I hate
1. Door unlock alert.. It's wayy too loud. Sometimes scare the hell out of my neighbours :D.. I just turned them off
Just completed 1200 kms on my 20 days old Creta SX Diesel Automatic White.. Few takes
Positives:
1. Sunroof, very very good for winters. Did not open the glass, only shade slide. In fact its opened since purchased, indoor parking helps. I think roof shades will be closed between Apr-Jul.
2. Very smooth ride, after 1000 kms engine felt more open.
3. Total mileage is 15.6, where i have driven 600 on highways. All on Normal mode. Have tried Eco and Sports only to check pickup. Sports is punchy but engine sounds boosted. Overtaking not an issue on normal mode.
4. Revv is smooth, no lag in regular driving. Felt a minor dip after crossing speed breaker. Lot better than Petrol Automatic.
5. Coming from i20, it feels spacious, significantly than last gen Creta. No complaints from anyone seated at back. There is no hump in between, so middle passenger also feels comfortable to place his feet.
6. Infotainment screen is thoughted well, which is divided in 3 sections. Maps can be kept with media or calls. Found missing in other cars.
7. Wireless charger is very handy. Got to know its utility after usage only.
8. Engine noise is less as of now. Lets see after 10-20k.
9. Lot of space for bottles, charging point at the back, sun shaded in back window all these are helpful.
10. Long journey is comfortable.
Negatives:
1. Boot Gate design has sharp edges, if anyone has noticed. Got a scratch and swelling when it hit my head while closing, my bad. Then I noticed its straight and curvy on other cars. It needs a little modification. Dangerous for short heights.
2. Music system is not so good. Felt SX(O) Bose much better than these. My old i20(Asta) has better quality.
3. Blue Link starts automatically, sometimes though. Read somewhere, others are also facing the same.
4. ABS still not top notch. Same with i20. 10 years is a big time to improve.
5. Interior material quality is compromised. Plastic is hard, material around gears is also not up to mark. Hope these don't get loosen with time to give rattling sound. Silver plastic panel outside is also cheap. Does not give sturdy feel for a 19lac around car.
6. Driving seat is not ergonomic for short drivers.

If the headlights were in the place of the DRLs then the lights would have function well, this kind of setup actually wastes a lot of light throwing on the road which is very close to the car itself. The angle of lights should be looked after on this
My 2016 car is like brand new after 35000 kms 😁
The headlights are surely inadequate. I recently replaced the halogen bulb with HID . This works well in the stock projectors 👍

I just bought creta 2021 ivt petrol SX and drove 1600kms in 4 days , light and speakers is a big issue . Rest mileage is between 11~15 depending on driving conditions

very good and acurate review. My creta have done 11000 km in 8 months. Boss speaker is not loud enough and Yes, the headlight is not that bright. Can somehow manage in the straight portion of road/highway. But in sharp turning hilly roads the Headlight is very much inadequate at night.
Cornering light is not for luxury it's an necessity.

They slowed the production to give boost to the sister brand KIA specially the Seltos as its sales have declined significantly after launch of Creta 2020 ( Dealership told me).

Waiting period varies from place to place and variants. I got my creta in one month.

Mere khyal se yeh he khasiyat hoti hai speaker ke wo kitni perfect beat through krte hai na ke loudness so that is kinda rich in a sense (quality wise).
I absolutely disagree with your disappointment about the Bose speakers quality. Music isn't about loudness, its about the clarity of the sound, which Bose is a leader in. :) Also, Bose has never been about loudness.. Except this, I always enjoy your reviews.. :)

Yes . Skoda rapid is really a fun to drive car . Creta E doesn't even have a music system and not even the basic safety feature of child isofix mounts which even ciaz has as standard . People are blindly going for SUVs . Rapid is great choice and is a driver delight car. Hope you enjoy great moments with your new car .
(Ig there was some news regarding the new Skoda rapid launching/ and creta E delivery will be uncertain 8months 10months or even 1 year ).

Getting 18.3 to 19 kmpl on auto pretol sxo creta during work route 😊. Depends on how you ride this beauty. ,UPDATE : Yesterday hit 20.4 KMPL 😊.

@@AkhilWalavalkar Ivt, if u are more into mileage thing, now m getting around 20.4 kmpl (petrol variant), & in cities also u'll definetly get 15 kmpl+ if u drive it properly, its all about how you drive this baby 👌, turbo will be comparitively high in maintenance due to dual clutch heat & other factors, also in turbo for some strange reason they offer only black leather interiors which for me is kinda suffocating & light colour offered in rest & ivt variant looks & gives more airy & large feeling. If money is not a concern for you & u are kinda adventurous person than go for turbo but for city, family & all round purpose IVT variant is perfect.

That is the auto RPM feature given in it when you do a gear shift and don’t push the throttle it speeds up automatically like an ATM

I am going for Creta instead of Harrier XZ+
First of all, Harrier doesn't give a feel of 20 lakhs Car and it's Interior sucks (but it's Exterior and build quality is the best). And it lacks in Features. Going with Creta is a great Choice, I may change my mind in future but right now, I will stick with Creta and book it, next month after properly comparing between these 2

Rachit bro , I own base E model which has the same halogen projector headlamps as model EX & S. I also felt that the spread and reach of the headlamp is very poor on the highways at night . Also cornering lamps would have felt good in a 12lakhs plus car

I don't think 10k is a long term review.. More than 50k is what buyers would want to see as that would have crossed free service period and longevity of parts
I own a petrol Creta sxo automatic sept 2020.
Facing one issue which my service center is not able to help with for quite sometime now, air purifier keeps turning ON automatically while driving even after turning it OFF with rear screen lock.
Had anyone faced this issue ? If yes, how was it resolved?

@@YMSD24 : on light foot in city its usually around 9-12kmpl, on highways its around 18-20kmpl as per dashboard mileage calculator on economy mode.
Yes breaking in new Creta doesn't give confidence. Also blulink maps are not updated.

With rear disc brakes feature now , Braking is perfect now
Hyundai has changed the vendor for the new Creta braking system. There is no braking issue in the current Creta.
The point he mentioned in this video shows the problem still persists. Otherwise its good that this issue is resolved in new model.

I never believe odometer mileage reading. Best way to calculate is to do tank to tank fill. It will show you exact mileage

I would say that this 2nd gen has a very good design, but it is not the favourite for us Indians.. The 1st gen was a gem, and this 2nd gen is gold.. that's it😀

White light is just for style its not as practical as Yellow light. I sincerely wish automobile makers take this seriously. Features outdated with time, lights, built quality, breaking system and saftey measure need to be taken into concern. As far as Hyundai is concerned I wasn't so satisfied with Verna after seeing Honda city in 2010 but now Hyundai has moved leaps and bounds with their cars.
Cretaa with the previous design is way better. Some feature are good some unnecessary. Their monopoly is meeting expectations but there is always pro n con from customer to customer.
