Diagnosing an intake air heater P0540 on a Duramax Diesel

This video walks you through the process of my diagnosis of the intake air heater circuit on my LB7 duramax. I also included the wiring diagram for your diagnosis. The most common solutions to this repair include:
Replacing the IAH Relay- This is located on the drivers side close to the firewall in an enclosed box with a black cover on it.
Replacing the IAH itself- This is located on the passenger side intake pipe and has one wire going to it. It's grounded through the frame of the pipe.
Repairing a harness connection for the IAH circuit- This is the tan wire that was the problem in my case. There could be a blown fusable link, an open, or a short
Blown IAH Fuse- Located in the underhood fuse box, this is diesel specific so make sure you're referencing the astericks when looking to find it.

Mine shows all the symptoms of intake heater not working... no engine light

Are you sure it's not bad glow plugs?
