I was told he's about 70 years old and goes to the harbour every day around 10-11am. My little boy (aged 2 at the time) kept saying Hidy Boo, every time the Turtle came up for air. Worth popping down to see him when in beautiful Argostoli.
He's either sick or lost. His traditional nesting area must be gone or his internal navigation isn't working. Loggerheads are very pelagic spending almost no time near the coast.
