@@raymondwalsh7520 it’s already been reported what the evidence is… hearsay from a convicted criminal who’s got a lenient sentence to convict another person. His evidence will be threw out. The monk travelled in a car that was bugged, Dowdall claimed the monk told him he was at the regency and organised it yet never spoke in the car about it, strange….

@@johnkearney1853 im a republican but more of a old school one . I believe unionists can help make a united ireland better for all . But the SCC is anti democratic whatever your vote . A jury if your peers is as much a pillar of democracy as press which they hold so dear . 3 judges are not a peer . It should be illegal now the wars over .

yup it's a complete stitch up. 'justice' in occupied ireland, similar to in britain, total joke.
Even if this goes to a conviction there will be years of appeals and challenges with respect to the case relying on the word of a criminal who is testifying to ensure a reduced charge and sentence. If that doesn't work then we'll see appeals to Europe due to the ongoing questions with respect to the Special Criminal Court. This will probably go on for years.

He had been charged with murdering before dowdall even came close to flipping.
@@irisheyes2747 well it’s the main evidence against him. The monk travelled in a bugged car with Dowdall yet he never admitted anything. If he was so comfortable around Dowdall how come he never incriminated himself while being recorded
It could go on for years with Mr hutch in custody.
I hope Gerry Hutch beats this charge. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

I had come to warm up to Sinn fein but this looks fairly damming for the party, dowdall used his connection to former ira men.

@@philipholohan4794 him and the father tortured that man only a year before the regency shooting he had he was already a SF official before that there is no record of any links between the father and the ira before that, and his neighbours was the monk and members of his cartel that's how he came in contact with them if he it's also how he came in contact with Ira then why would the monk need him ad an intermediary if they all lived beside one another

3 judges will find him guilty even if he's not,that's why he apposed the 3 judge system,what I want to know is the talk in the car where it was said gerry hutch was worried about the clear pictures of flat cap and the man in drag would put his family in danger,are they gonna try get a man brought before the court who has been before the court before?
The Sunday World were there to be able to photograph two of the gunmen, but the Gardai had no clue that something might happen. How peculiar. Anyone else find that odd?

@@Wildrover82 Bit strange, especially the way it was after Gary was killed and the monk nearly getting murdered himself in Lanzarote. the regency was a preemptive strike to prevent himself from being killed. it was a case of kill or be killed. they tried to kill him in Lanzarote on the assumption he would take revenge for Gary, so he had to act.
