- The power of thyme and honey combine to create this cold treat to help with a summer (or anytime) cough or sore throat! How to make:
4 cups boiled water
A handful of fresh thyme
Unpasteurized honey
Place the thyme in the water. After about 20 minutes, add about 1/8 cup honey. Stir well. Let sit 40 minutes, then strain.
Pour into freezie tubes - and freeze! Use within 6 months. Be sure to make some late summer to have throughout the winter!
What a fabulous idea! ❤
Thank you!!!!!!
I have Lemon Thyme and it's my new favorite herb. It smells amazing and works great with Chamomile, Lavender and Peppermint or Lemon balm.
I've made lemon balm freezies - they are a really nice treat!!!
Thanks, great idea!
Thank you!
I found a huge patch of wild thyme growing in a park. It's definitely a wild plant. Thank you for this
You are welcome!!!
I never would have thought
You just opened a new herbal door for me!❤❤❤
I am so glad!
Oh WOW!!!! What a perfect idea to use this for someone with a sore throat, or even someone that may have gotten their tonsils out to soothe it! I’m going to have to get together some herbs and make my niece some of this because she will be getting hers out soon enough
Always great to have on hand!!!!
This is so cool 😎 Thanks 💕🇨🇦
You are so welcome!!!
A video that's worth our Thyme!
😎
Oh my I love it!!!!
Sounds like a really great idea I just wonder if freezing the honey takes all of its wonderful qualities away as excessive heat does 🤔
Honey can be frozen in the jar and only the texture may be altered - not the nutrients!
