She’s very consistent, has 3 H+ passes, innovative leap & jump series, so she’s definitely looking for a medal here.
Seeing these routines back to back, I can really see the artistry improvement. Tumbling is as top notch as it’s ever been. Jade is a huge asset to the team 🖤

Totally agree. Watched the trials on it’s own and wasn’t sure but seeing them back to back, the difference is pretty big. The routine just flows more.

There are more amplitude and variety in body movements. Basically you can see all the nice attempts in each objective artistry points. Whether these are enough depend on judges. Some judges are ruthless and took 0.4 artistry deduction on Jess. Every Americans will probably be taken at least 0.3 off in artistry, which is fine given the difficulty and cleaner dance execution.
@@cocoroni1031 honestly it seems like you get 3 tenths off for breathing - we can’t control the judging but we can definitely give Jade credit for the effort she’s clearly putting forward to make an improvement.

Can she repeat her gold medal win? No. Not with Simone in the mix. But she is very likely to come away with silver. Let's not forget that she *does* almost always beat Rebecca on floor. By a small margin, yes, but that doesn't change that she's beaten Rebecca more often than not.

Absolutely amazing athlete. The gold is Simone’s this time though (obviously, if nothing weird happens). But I'm hoping for Jade and Rebeca to win silver and bronze (or the other way round).

Dunno, liked this routine 2024 and her clean landings way better than Biles. Biles routine is not as cool and her landings are often bad. So I would not be so sure.
@@endlessstudent3512 What bad landings? Simone is more controlled now compared to 2021 and has max 7.0 DV. She also has less artistry deductions than Jade.
@@mocneeuq You never know about artistry deduction. Jade's range is between 0.2 - 0.6 which is exactly Simone's range. One brevet judge mentioned Simone's music structure is a problem which will incur artistry deductions (0.1 music structure, 0.1 - 0.3 background music).

She will only beat Simone if Simone pulls out. She can't beat her head to head. Now silver or Bronze is realistic. But I think Rebecca will get Silver.
A lot of people do think it’s Simone’s gold to lose, and the competition will be for second place. It will be exciting to watch!
Jade has beaten Rebecca more often than not on floor. Jade will very likely take silver, especially if she upgrades her last pass, which everyone is speculating she will do (and her coach has hinted at it heavily as well)
@@omglauraelizabeth It is going to be close for sure. Probably less than 2 tenths. I would love to see the USA get Gold and Silver but Rebecca brings not only powerful gymnastics but great dance. Dance is really not Jade's strength. Although she has improved.
Now that is sticking a landing. Biles could learn something from her.
Biles has more power, which she struggles to contain. That’s a good problem to have, and when you have a large margin of error, probably easier on her body to not fight for it. IDK

A Moors, a Silivas AND a Chuso in one routine, but she's overrated? Can’t take your comment seriously. If you don’t like her style, fine. But trashing a world class athlete who can do a skill set only one or two other women in the world are capable off is absolutely ridiculous.
She’s underrated AF😂. Like people always forget she can pace at the right time, and don’t destroy herself trying crazy skills like triple double layout at competitions. And no one else is doing three H+ passes and such a DC direct dance series. People often do switch 0.93-0.95 but she does switch 1/1 + sky high Popa in combination with precision . Underrated in leaps and jumps.

she won cuz the others sucked big time, her routine s mediocre without anything new, mustafina or komova would crush her even ohashi 14.3 not even 15, is very low for an olimpic routine
A significant factor for the difference is that scoring has gotten more granular, as there's more parity now. In the days of Mustafina & Komova, only a handful of countries had the best gymnasts - Russia, U.S., China, Romania. Now there are more countries with world medal-potential talent in the mix (e.g., Brazil, GB, France, Italy) - so judges are much more picky about who gets close to 15, let alone above that.

Omg I’m a competitive gymnast and I do the x-cel program and I am platinum now but last year I was gold and I had a state meet called good in Paris
It was so fun and I loved everything about it ❤️(also got more titles)
