Do you use the same amount of balls with the Paton Sock Yarn?

It would be really nice if total yards used would be included.

@@debbieblosser2038 new patterns today they are striving for exact amounts instead of just stating how many yarn balls with yarn ball details on the pattern. I know I am measuring weight per colour instead of just stating amount of balls to purchase. You are right though. Moving forward they are doing just that on new patterns.

@@TheCrochetCrowd Yardage would be nice! Stardust is no longer available. I have sent an email for information in order to produce this pattern, and no clue is given for substitution. But I really want to make this. Thank you~Mikey.

I love the silent counting. I can’t tell you how many times I have lost count in tutorial when the teacher is counting out loud. So thank you Mikey.

It's new. I am trying this idea and I like it as well. It's easier for me to keep my breath without losing it.

I made this one a few years ago. I used a sock yarn without wool (gift for someone allergic).

There's a wrap pattern using just the shells that I know of. Here's a link for that just in case you are interested. ua-cam.com/video/yI2FWBmTTwo/v-deo.html

You ended up with more than 40 stitches in Row 20 because you missed the part where you only put two double crochet into the very middle smaller chain space. Hope this helps anyone who might be doing this project and see my comment.

      Also-in Row 21 the written pattern reads 21 dc and 19 ch-1 spaces but I end up with 21dc and 20 Ch-1 spaces. Hmmm…

If you only like the shells just make your scarf all shells. I think the scarf is interesting using both.

Nice pattern. Your ultra loose stitching (the stitches get longer at the end of the shells) and tension are *not* my cup of tea, though, yikes!!
