Did this hike a couple years ago, took no water, and we thought we may not make it out. This place was so amazing that we returned last September with our children and grandchildren and were able to drive in and have all day to enjoy the springs and especially the scenery. I would advise anyone who loves nature or has never been to a place like this to go here during the summer when the road is open and have an experience that will last a lifetime!
Thank you. It’s definitely interesting when you’re relaxing in the hot water and you look around and realize you’re deep in the mountains, and with snow during the winter.
I don’t remember I just use the all trails app since it’s free, it’s never failed me. When I went, because there was so much snow, I had to park on the road and make the 10 mile round trip but if there isn’t snow you’re able to park pretty much very close to the springs. ,and I would say yeah they were around that temperature.
@@northernmichiganoverland it should look similar to this, it’s very relaxing and you can’t really get lost, it’s a pretty straight shot in and out. You’ll have a good time!
Hi Kim, although it is covered in snow, there is only one direction you can take with no turn offs or anything until you are near, once you are near you will reach signs leading to the pools. Also I use the all trails app, it’s free to use. I hope that helps 👍🏽!
