@@topwheelsauto you can look it up if you don't believe me. Google Bmw e38 or bmw m70 or bmw m73. Some differences: m70b50 is a 5.0L V12 produced from 1988 to 1995 in the bmw e32 7 series and in the 1991 to 1995 e31 8 series. M73 is a 5.4L V12 produced from 1995 to 2001 for the e38 7 series. Very few parts interchange between the two engines. Feel free to run this information past any knowlegeable BMW enthusiast, expert or technician. A key difference between the two is that the m70 produced 296 hp and can run on either regular or premium unleaded while the m73, producing 326 hp, due to both knock sensors and a higher compression ratio, requires premium fuel. The m70 does not have knock sensors and doesn't need them. Also, they use different valvetrains. The M70 used hydraulic flat tappet camshafts and valve lifters. The M73 used a roller tappet valvetrain and camshafts. Both were single overhead cam V12 engines. That's just about all the two engines had in common.
Good job guys.
Lifting the engine by the intakes? Goodbye intake gaskets
you don t see right

Any updates on the V12 swap?
not yet dough, bad mechanics till now😂😂😂
Did you still use the stock manual transmission? If yes does it need an bellhousing adapter to fit in v12 block?
It is a automatic transmision, but we can adapt a manual one from a 4.4i e38

💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
The cat pissing on the car in the beginning was a nice touch in showing how worthless the car was.
Don think so 🤨
Put it in an e46?
don t like very much e46, maybe coupe🤔
Just an fyi a 750i from 2000 is an m73 not an m70. They look similar but are totally different engines.
are you sure??

That is a big engine! Looks like an elephant giving birth.
never imagined that 😂😂😂
It's actually not that big, about an inch longer than a small block Ford, and just a little wider. They're very compact engines.
Dont put it in an e34. I dont like bmw but the e34 have a pristine engine from the factory so dont ruin it.
don t think so
