Phantom video just as I sit down for breakfast is a perfect way to start the day

Going for 11 points isn't just for vanity. Catan tournaments (at least in the US) sometimes do seeding by total number of points gained in preliminary rounds, so every point matters (and they do include when you get 11 or even 12 points in those games). They can also be used as a tiebreaker when the tournament format counts number of victories instead. In either case, it's a good practice to be on the lookout for those 11-point victories.
How is it possible to get to 12 points?
The game stops when you reach or exceed 10 points, not at the end of the turn, right?
You can't get more than 2 points with one action. So the best you can do is go from 9 to 11.
Or do they use different rules in these tournaments?
@@SamsonGuest If your settle for 10 pts also happens to chop someone's longest road path so that road flips to you
@@adamellner5591 ahh right forgot about that.
Thanks.

Nice one!
well played!!! glad you got the 11 p
with such a high ore production, I'm surprised you're discarding the brick.. I think you should be desperate for wood here, so I'm not sure why you're turning down offers... don't expect them to give you 1 for 1 when you don't produce the resource... you desperately need the port, so you should offer more than 1 for 1 when you trade.
Blue def a fan of yours
A little sweaty at the end, not sure how blue didn't pull off the win
Phantom-Sama, I'm still waiting my dream~. A video where you speak in the thickest Australian accent is my dream. I know you have it in you.
Thank you

Rule of thumb - there's at least one toxic player in every table. If you feel like no one was being toxic, it might have been you (which you were, a little bit).
I don't see it personally, not the smoothest table talk but far from toxic
@@joshuagoulden7467
I've seen worse, but I do believe that pointing fingers at others while you know that you are in the lead is somewhat toxic.
@catanace1741 disagree. It's deflection. If done well you succeed. If done poorly you'll draw the attention on you.
And honestly the concern for blue was valid.
Agreed. When the guy that complains the most is clearly in the lead all game, I think it's fair to call it toxic.
@@SamsonGuest Was it? He was getting robbed almost every time (as he should) and still won with only a moderate sweat. If he had gaslight the other players into robbing blue, he would have won easily. The funny part is that he's trying to convince us that blue should be the rob. I wonder if he actually believed it himself
