Battle of Versailles is fantastic. It's one of me and my daughter's favorite games to play together. And it's so cool to hear that you're excited about War Story, Rodney. When Dave and I first started conceptualizing the game four years ago, Ambush was one of the games that I mentioned to Dave as a possible inspiration. :)
I'll definitely be buying a copy of BoV. I had a chance to play War Story just two days ago and it was fantastic. It absolutely did hit that Ambush! vibe I was hoping for. Congrats to you and Dave on such a fantastic design and great execution of the idea.
Ambush got me hooked as well. I wanted to play so bad that when my brother hired me to clean his garage I set it up in his rarely used garage bathroom floor. You can imagine my embarrassment when he had to use said rarely used bathroom. "Yeah, I played on my lunch break."
Burning Banners???? Cardboard Chit Wargame in Fantasy theme...where was the Kickstarter, how did I miss this...gosh I wish they would redo TITAN :) THANKS!!!!!!
I know what you mean. Burning Banners snuck up on me, too. I stumbled across it while browsing at my local game store, and was shocked that I hadn't come across it before, with all the online research I do each month. And I'll have to look into TITAN as well. You've sparked my curiosity about it. :) -Chaz
@@varianor I haven’t, but I tend to avoid more formal review comparisons. What appeals to me may not be to someone else’s tastes. Hope you get a chance to try it.
Game Night Picks has been AMAZING! It was exactly what I needed to help get people engaging with game selection on game days. Superb work! I struggled with adding all my stuff to BGG but your UI made getting my library online very smooth! I have enjoyed seeing how you (Chaz) and others have been using to host games everywhere. Seriously, thank you so much for this! Now if we can only get something like this for figuring out movie nights. ;)
🤩 Thanks for the comment, pagemasterjim! What you described is exactly the reason it was made. It makes me very happy to hear it being useful for people in this way. I appreciate your feedback, and I hope you and your game group continue to enjoy the site. Cheers! -Chaz

Rodney Smith, my ultimate goal in life is to game with you.
And then you'd be like "Huh, I thought he'd be harder to beat"
Why is the vampire's trombone filled with peanut butter?😂😂😂
Pffft. What _else_ are ya gonna store in there?! Marbles? They'd just roll right out. Obviously.

Oh YIPPIE! I love Chaz & Rodney angst videos. I'll look forward to watching this when Ril's in a chill mood! Ya'll are WAY better than soaps.
Chaz and Rod in the same episode, this is the type of content Al Gore created the internet for!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'd to think that your comment wasn't an Inconvenient Truth. 🙂👍

Ha! I've heard of gaming in a lot of places... "My brother's bathroom" was not on my bingo card :)
Great picks! Cant wait to play War Story!
I hope you enjoy it! :D

Playing over Zoom instead of TTS. Now that's a concept.
It's pretty great!

Excellent stuff as always guys. Is it to soon to start counting down to Airecon X (Harrogate) 2025? 🙂
Have either of you guys played Sol: Last Days of a Star? How did it compare?
