Solex App - PART 1: Menu Walkthrough

I was informed by the dev that i mispoke about Max Distance, please be advised
"The "Distance Limit" setting in Vehicle Settings isn't for guidance distance, it's actually a max distance in general. If you turn that on and fly beyond the limit you set, it will warn you. If you have the "Fence action" setting set to "RTL", it will RTL if you exceed that distance." -Kelly

In this video I cover all the menu features in the Solex App. Solex is the continuation of the stock 3DR Solo app, any new features for the Solo will be found in Solex.

My 3dr has never been out of the box since bought 2 years ago.
How on earth do I update my controller and copter ? It says no flying until first update with the other APP that will not even start. I was told buy the solex app and I purchased it 29.99 from app store and now what. I dont see a thing about startup or update software or app.
Any help would be appreciated, thanx Eric

Hello! Does anybody knows if I can use this app to do a programed flight? I have to fly above a piece of road (arround 2 kilometers) and I have to follow the road's left or right turns. I want to program the flight and the drone follow those points. Can it be done with this app? If not do you know another app? I have a phantom 4 pro. Thanks!

I downloaded the sole app on my note 4 and for some reason it doesn't have half of the functions this one has. App settings on mine only has a few options. The one on this video has alot.. also I dl the app so I could have control of the lights. Like on this video above telemetry it says controls.....mine only says telemetry so I can't control the lights. Basically this app is useless to me. I might as well uninstall the app and go bk to using the solo app. Can anybody give me a link to this version?

My camera view is upside down any suggestions

I have the same problem. Did you ever find a solution. I tried different GoPro settings and the only thing I found is to set the GoPro setting as upside down then Solex displays as sort of correct. But all my images and video are recorded upside down. Is there as setting in the Solex App that controls this?
