I am blown away by this thing. Not just the transforming kit itself, but the entire presentation of it. The box containing the Charter of the Universal Century is just amazing.
Unicorn was my first Gundam series, definitely not the best place to start but the incredible visuals and Sawano’s masterful score got me hooked. RE: I AM is still one of my favorite pieces of music, although to be honest I’m more of a Banshee fan myself. If they make one of those like this then I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
I got into gunpla before actually watching any, but IBO was the first series i watched completely, absolutely loved it. Watched Unicorn next and hated it. Well I mean, it was awesome, but I hated the main character so so much and the ending was just way too shonen cliche. But on the other hand the kshatriya fights were freakin amazing, and most of the other fights were also really good when stupid banager didnt ruin them
It would've been nicer if it has just as you said, USB charging and an app from which you can control the lights, sounds and transformation The transformation is nice but having buttons and AAA batteries for power source makes it feel old tech, like 1990s tech. Just my two cents
Disagree on the app part. The buttons are fine and having an app would guarantee at some point you couldn’t use this thing at all whenever it’d become unsupported/non-downloadable in the (somewhat far off) future

Honestly. The biggest thing here is that the V-fin is color accurate for once. Plus I love all of the warnings and maintenance decals on this. I've never been able to read them on other kits. That might just be me though.
When they showed this during the p bandai event, the v fin wouldn't close completely....and the camera was zoomed in on it. I feel like they should have used magnets in the v fin to keep it closed

I know motion like that is common in show but just the way the Exia moved it was both lighter then a feather and a massive robot of weight and power. What I'm saying is I'm trying to ignore how much I want this amazing item by thinking of Gundam beating up the laws of physics. Great vid!

Well, the Odaiba Gundam is also perpetually stuck in a transformed state (with the exception of a few moving parts, most notably the head, shoulders, and front skirting armour) so I'm not gonna complain about the torso permanently being in NTD mode.
I can still remember the first time I saw a cosplayer here in Philippines way back in mid 2010 imitating the v fin of Banshee when transforming to destroy mode using her hands. I just said man, that was epic, while holding my Band of Zaku shirt.
This is close to the real statue in japan. Wow, i would love to have just the box alone, but the model itself is the best i've seen and would be number one in any gunpla collection...wish i have the money

Imagine sitting with your gf on the couch and saying.. lets make an atmosphere honey, and then she says, but you don't have a lamp.. and then you press the button and magic begins. But honestly? I like freedom with opening hatch sequence more for some reason.
It's impressive but couldn't Bandai have included an option to have this powered via USB? This seems like it'll be the same situation as the Sega Game Gear. Lots of batteries being used. Though to be fair, I guess this isn't the type of thing that you'll be constantly transforming that often anyway.

Heck, you killed your wallet several times just to buy more 00 *BOXES* . But if you buy, even just a single Exia kit (such as the HG) as your sole 00 kit, you're still a 00 fan. Isn't there a third party one that was axed by bandai? That one transforms more especially the chest and the backpack too. This one is just the head transformation...😕
im waiting for a moving gundam Head bust that you can control with a phone. preferrably a gundam that has a lot of mechanical stuff on the neck like a Barbatos so that those parts can move along as well

I love that they let you build the statue rather than make it a pre-assembled purchase.

Just an FYI you can convert batteries to USB via special dummy batteries. They're very helpful and you can get some off Amazon.
